Barn in Wiltshire: Wiltshire

The peaceful hamlet of Sedgehill is a great spot for those wishing to get away from it all, while being well connected. Nearby Shaftesbury offers stunning views across pastureland and pretty streets, including the iconic Gold Hill, which is lined with chocolate box cottages. There is a good range of shops, pubs, and cafes, ideal for a pit stop following a day s walking or cycling. For those wishing to explore the Saxon roots of the area, the town museum and abbey ruins are well worth a visit. Within 25 miles are many popular attractions including Stonehenge, Longleat house and safari park, Stourhead House and gardens, Haynes Motor Museum, the cathedral cities of Salisbury and Bath, and the Kennet and Avon canal. A shared driveway leads to the property, which has an enclosed yard to the front. Adjacent to the owner s home, yet with privacy assured, a private entrance door leads into this single storey property. Once inside you are met with a fantastic open plan living space, with a vaulted ceiling, beams. The kitchen area, to your right, is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. A central island and stools allow for sociable dining. In the handy utility you will find a washing machine, sink, and electric drying rack. You can relax in the comfortable lounge area with a wood burner and Smart TV. Leading on from this room is a hallway, which leads to the bedrooms. There is a king size bedroom, a king size with en suite shower room, dressing area, and WC, and a twin bedroom. Completing the accommodation is a contemporary bathroom with bath, separate shower, and WC. Heading outside via patio doors from the open plan living area you will find an enclosed garden, with a patio, comfortable furniture, and a private hot tub. Mostly laid to lawn, the garden is a great space for children to let off steam or wonder around saying hello to the horses, sheep and chickens around the farm and adults can sit back unwind or take one of the walking trails leading off from the farm that loop round. To the front of the property is ample off road parking.
