Bungalow in North Wales: Flintshire

Luxury romantic retreat sitting in 5 acres of glorious grounds commanding fabulous uninterrupted views across the Vale of Clwyd, the Clwydian Range and on a clear day you can see as far as Eryri National Park, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and across to the North Wales coast line all set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Set in an idyllic spot near Bodfari (0.6 miles) with a woodland skills centre and local pub. There is plenty to see and do with Denbigh (5 miles) offering a museum, two Golf Courses, castle and gliding, restaurants, ample supermarkets, takeaways and independent shops. The market town of Mold (12 miles) with its street market and theatre. Ruthin (12miles) with its craft centre, castle and independent shops. St Asaph is a lovely place to visit, with a small city status with its central marble cathedral. Join the Clwydian Way footpath from the doorstep that joins onto the Offa's Dyke (0.5miles) and climb the highest point in the Clwydian Range or Snowdonia National Park for the ultimate challenge (within 30 miles). Ride the many cycle routes, stride the footpaths or stroll along the sandy beaches along North Wales coastline, maybe take a dip in the sea or a boat trip. This unique holiday cottage has been designed with tranquillity and ambience in mind and to make the most of the stunning location, local wildlife and fabulous views, sunsets and dramatic skies. Walk into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with feature windows and a patio doors to the garden, filling this space with natural light. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen area is well equipped to rustle up a meal with local produce from your travels. When your meal is ready the table is the perfect setting to enjoy a romantic meal together and plan your holiday activities. After a full day out, relax on the sofa, watch one of your favourites on the 43" Smart TV, or choose a DVD and light the wood burner for cosy nights in. Take time to unwind in the stylish bathroom and when ready for bed, retreat to the calming bedroom with a king size bed and patio doors opening onto the enclosed garden. The former stables offer a unique experience of rest and relaxation, and why not enjoy a holistic treatment in the owner's spa on site, with many therapies to discover and tailor made treatments to suit all. Outside is an enclosed garden with a paved patio with a table, chairs, arbours and charcoal BBQ for alfresco dining. Sun loungers and numerous vista seating help embrace the uninterrupted rural and mountain views from sunrise to sunset. Help yourself to seasonal herbs in the herb garden for your stay. With 5 acres of land surrounding the cottage you have wildlife on your doorstep with the owner being very proud of several conservation projects from native woodlands, butterfly gardens, wild flower meadows and grass lands. The owners are proud members of the RSPB, Butterfly conservation, Welsh Wildlife trust, Woodland Trust and RHS. You are in for such a treat during your stay, you will not want to leave this beautiful haven.
