We had a lovely 3 day stay in Ballinlea Cottage in July. Cottage was so cosy and home from home. We had everything we needed and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. Great place to see all the great sights of the Antrim Coast and very close to the Dark Hedges. Would highly recommend and am looking forward to staying there again.

Had a great stay here. Clean, quiet and plenty of character.
It's a short distance from the Giant's Causeway, Ballintoy Harbour, Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge and Ballycastle Town which made it an ideal place to stay...

“A superb cottage, well placed for the North Coast”

Just returned from a very enjoyable week at Ballinlea Cottage. The Cottage is excellent. It was very clean and well equipped.Dawn, the owner, welcomed us . She showed us round, explained where everything was and how things worked.

The Cottage is well placed and you can go West to places like Giants Causeway and Castlerock. Alternatively you can go East to Cushendun and Cushendall. The nearest point to the sea is at Ballintoy. Drive down to the harbour where you can park. It is really lovely and there is good cafe which does wonderful meals. In Ballycastle , which is a great place, look out for the various ice cream shops. There is Mauds which is very good and also Morelli's. I have never seen so many ice cream shops.

“Idyllic holiday cottage”

Myself and my family had a lovely relaxing holiday at Ballinlea Cottage. Dawn (the owner) was such a warm friendly person and was very informative about the cottage on arrival. The welcome basket was overflowing with goodies including her Mum's homemade Wheaten bread which was delicious! We had great weather and were able to enjoy the beautiful garden and Conservatory. The Cottage was so well-styled with just the right mix of modern living, and the character of the original home. The beds were so comfy and in fact Dawn had thought of everything to make the Cottage a delight to stay in. Ballycastle is a lovely town and we were central to all the tourist attractions round the North Coast. We all could have stayed longer when the week was up and would definitely come back to this beautiful holiday home.
