Inside, a bright and fresh botanical theme with beachy rattan furniture is illuminated by natural light that streams through the sliding doors. Step out onto the second terrace for traditional breakfasts in the morning or seafood lunches in the afternoon. Take the five-minute walk down to the pebble shores of Reis Magos and cool off in the gentle waters. Sign up for a snorkelling excursion at nearby Madeira Diving Center or rent equipment if you’re PADI certified. In the early evening, settle in with a glass of the island’s own Poncha at a beach side bar or hop in the car for the fifteen-minute ride to Funchal and dine in charming restaurants with spectacular ocean views.
