Built in 1929, Art Deco House showcases impressive features that take you back to a bygone era of lavish magnificence and opulent luxuries. It sits atop a cliff overlooking Sandown Bay, and there’s great access to the cliff edge and spectacular views of the Channel. Once you get inside, it becomes clear that it’s a labour of love. All of the furniture and art has been meticulously sourced from English and Viennese beginnings, and it ends up feeling like something from an F Scott Fitzgerald novel – especially, as you wander around the beautifully manicured gardens. It doesn’t hurt that one of the owners is an expert on Champagne either, and can provide you with a personal selection. *Children will be sharing rooms with adults, but with their own beds
*The dining table seats fourteen guests ideally, although there is room for an extra six chairs
*You’ll need a car during your stay as the area is remote – there's parking space for seven to ten vehicles on the gated driveway at the front of the house
*There is a separate office for those keeping one eye on work during their stay
