With the picturesque Bush River meandering through the village and views of the majestic Knocklayd mountain, as well as being within easy distance of the Causeway Coast, Glenshesk, and Glentaisie, the village provides for a perfect holiday location.
Picnicking and strolling around the village's Riverside Gardens are popular activities, as are stopping for a substantial lunch at one of three welcoming pubs, including The Amarda Inn, and stocking up on necessities at the well-stocked convenience store.
