Springfield is luxury Victorian house which was constructed in the mid nineteenth century for a prominent family associated with the linen industry.

The house is approached by a sweeping driveway through mature gardens. It occupies a slightly elevated site and although it offers a high degree of privacy, does benefit from having neighbours nearby.
