Just launched luxurious newly refurbished 5-bedroomed coastal home offering privileged ocean views. With floor to ceiling picture windows providing a panoramic seascape, this house is spacious, warm and full of light.

A beautiful, contemporary coastal home ideally located in the affluent coastal village of Killiney, Dublin. The light filled living areas are laid out across three floors with a south facing aspect that bathes the house in sunlight. Guests are close to the beach and the beautiful walks on Killiney Hill, as well as the picturesque town of Dalkey.

The coastal setting is ideal for walking by the seafront or swimming in nearby Sandycoves' famous 40 foot. The dart train is only a short walk away.


Ground Floor: WiFi throughout the house.

The kitchen and living room (including a family size dining table that seats up to ten guests) are set out in a single open plan setting covering 3/4 of the downstairs foot print making it a beautiful place for relaxed living, eating, drinking and socialising. There is a terrace that sweeps across the front of the house offering fabulous sea views. This leads to stairs down to the front lawn garden, which is totally private and secure. The garden also provides stunning sea views, and the terrace is a perfect spot for al fresco dining. A separate sitting room at the east side of the house offers a quiet place to get away and read a book or watch TV. There are 2 TVs on the ground floor both with cable tv and over 600 channels. There is also a Sonos surround sound system in the kitchen and dining area, a mercury range over with duel fuel capabilities, underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and a reverse osmosis water filter tap for drinking water as well as a boiling water tap for hot drinks.

First Floor:

The master bedroom with ensuite takes the east wing of the first floor, with a balcony that looks out over Killiney Bay and the Wicklow mountains. Bedrooms 2 & 3 are large double bedrooms, and there is a main family bathroom which completes this floor. The main bathroom has a bath and a separate shower and is luxuriously tiled in Fired Earth tiles and top of the range Duravit appliances. The shower is a rainforest shower with the usual oversized shower head. Hot water is provided day and night through the energy efficient heat pump system and solar panels. Each ensuite has underfloor heating and heated towel rails. Both the master bedroom and the second front facing bedroom on floor 2 have exceptional views.

Second Floor:

Bedrooms 4 & 5 are located on the top floor; bedroom 5 has its own ensuite bathroom. Both are luxuriously finished with king sized beds, comfortable reading chairs, blackout blinds, cashmere rugs and ample storage space. The views and light are breath taking from both bedrooms on the top floor; they are serene, peaceful places to enjoy a relaxing nights sleep.

The neighbourhood

Killiney is a beautiful leafy seaside residential neighbourhood. The historic villages of Dalkey, Glastule, Sandycove and Glenegary are a 5-10 minute drive and offer local restaurants, coffee shops, delicatessens and pubs. The famous 40 foot is nearby as is the stunning Victoria/Killiney Hill, the perfect place to grab coffee and see the best views of Dublin. The area is affluent and populated by many famous faces including Bono of U2, Enya, Van Morrison. It is a safe and quiet village, and the amenities are perfect for any traveller looking to sample the delights of Dublin and beyond. As well as being a short car or train journey to Dublin's city centre, Killiney is also a gateway to Wicklow allowing guests to explore Powerscourt Estate, Mount Usher gardens, etc. There are numerous delicious restaurants nearby in Dalkey and in particular in Monkstown.

Getting around

The Aircoach (bus to/from Dublin Airport) stops at Fitzpatrick Castle (5-minute walk from the house) hourly.

Killiney Dart Station accessing Dublin to the north and Wicklow to the south is a 10-minute walk.
