The Egerton House: London

Egerton House Hotel dates back to 1843 and is located in one of London's most prestigious areas, on a quiet tree-lined street in the heart of Knightsbridge.

This luxury townhouse hotel is walking distance from some of London's most well known museums including the V&A, Science and Natural History Museums and a few steps from Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Sloane Street and the Kings Road, making this the ideal base from which to enjoy the best of vibrant London. .

Although the entire hotel has been refurbished and upgraded with fine fabrics and antique Italian furnishings, each of the 23 bedrooms, 4 top-floor studio suites and the master suite retain the grandeur and exclusivity of the townhouses of which they were once part.

Among the many unique features of this small jewel of a hotel is a glorious collection of original artworks from artists such as Picasso, Matisse and Toulouse-Lautrec. And there is still plenty of discreet 21st-century technology to keep you in touch, such as complimentary high-speed wireless internet connection and SKY TV.

Although there is no formal restaurant at The Egerton, guests enjoying its luxurious comfort can choose from the wide selection of options on our menu. From warming classics such as Bea's Chicken Noodle Soup to something more substantial such as Aberdeen Angus sirloin steak or innovative such as the exclusive aqua-menu for the ultimate hydrating experience.

Egerton House Hotel is a chic and stylish venue to choose for cocktail parties or weddings for up to 20 people or small family gatherings – birthdays, anniversaries, private dinners, or other celebrations – for a maximum of ten people.

“My favourite hotel so far!”

This hotel is the best at service and attention to detail. The rooms, food, decor, cleanliness, everything was top notch. The bartender, famous for his martinis for a reason, was so fun. The hotel is in a great neighbourhood, is small and more like a charming inn. Just can't say enough about how lovely this place is and how much we enjoyed it!

“Above and beyond”

Our experience at the Egerton House far exceeded our expectations. I had read all the reviews but had no idea how wonderful it really was. The property itself is lovely. Everything you need is there for you. However, what makes a beautiful property like this stand above the rest is the staff. Each and every person we encountered was friendly, thoughtful and wanting to make sure your every need was taken care of. We were always greeted with a smile by each and every staff member. I can not think of one single thing they could have done to make our stay there any better.

“Beautiful ”

What can I say. Stayed for a weekend with husband and it was fabulous. Food, rooms, the staff. Nothing is to much trouble. Lovely small hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel if you want a little London getaway for two. Had a great weekend. Thank you all
