"Gorgeous place, brilliant staff" The Monart is beautiful. Staff in restaurant, spa all so lovely, guys who valet cars, luggage really friendly. My only ‘complaint’ was that their lovely silver tea pots don’t actually serve tea hot enough! So was dying for hot tea, and no tea-making facilities in room. Beautiful place, well worth a visit.

"Superb Hotel" Stayed last week for 1 night...fantastic in every way..Service, Spa and Food all amazing...staff best we have experienced in similar 5*. All rooms have outside Patio/Balcony...this is a lovely feature as all overlook beautiful gardens. Can only imagine in Summer time. If I have one small tiny criticism it is the Bathrobes which the Hotel desires you to wear all day and the issue is the size. We are both very tall and would have loved to choose a size. It seems one size fits all...glad we both have good legs.. if there was a choice, we were not asked..in saying that, we will be back..loved it.

"Magical" I don't even know how to put into words how amazing my 1 night stay was. The best way to describe it is magical...We where greeted by the charming manager Mark at the door who made us feel super welcome, like I was coming home. The next thing that hits you is the smell, the whole place smells beautifully I cant describe it. The decor in the old house is beautiful and then you walk through a glass walkway into a magnificent reception area. Check in was a breeze and we where shown to our room by a lovely girl. The rooms are large, spacious and relaxing with a lovely balcony looking out into the scenery. The grounds are out of this world and we really enjoyed walking around them and taking it all in. We had lunch and dinner in the garden lounge as we wanted to enjoy relaxing in our robes, which I highly recommend doing. This brings me on to mention 2 staff members who really are a credit to your hotel. Thierry and sebastian in the garden lounge. Both went above and beyond to look after us. Food on both occasions was delicious. Thermal suite area and both relaxation rooms are fabulous. I'm currently going through a very difficult time in my life which I didn't think of once, it's like your in a different world the minute you pull up to the gate when all the stresses of the outside world are left behind. So thank you Mark and all the staff for making that possible.

"Words do not do this place justice" Let me begin by saying I hated spa's, the idea of them that is. Monart was my first spa trip. WOW have I been converted. From the second you drive up to the gates of this Haven you know it is a different world. The excellent and friendly staff take your keys and park your car and you enter this sanctuary. The spa is out of this world. Clean and bright and MASSIVE. There are so many different rooms, areas and elements in this place that it never feels crowded and you can really just unwind. The food in the restaurant is unbelievable. Tasty and impressive to look at, Michelin standard for sure. Having breakfast in your robe and slippers is a real treat. In fact, the whole trip we were there we wore our robes, except to dinner of course. GO, that is all there is to it. You wont be disappointed.......just know that all other Spa's will be ruined for you.

I booked a 2 night stay solo, for my 40th birthday. I didn't want the big party, but some time to really spoil myself and as I never been to a Spa, I went with a friends suggestion and booked Monart. My stay exceeded anything I had expected. On my arrival, my car was parked for me and my bags brought to my room as, the amazingly professional but yet down to earth, Michelle told me anything I needed to know and showed me to my gorgeous room, facing the pond as my friend had suggested I ask for. The Spa was beutiful. One main room with 8 little adjoining spa rooms and an outdoor sauna (my fave). On the wall is an explanation of the rooms and in what order to use them, finish off with a foot bath in the main room and go find the dark relaxation room! ( the spa staff didn't tell me of this room so I nearly missed it) It's so nice to rest there after all the tiring pampering :) As other reviewers have mentioned: there is no jacuzzi and I did miss one aswell, but I think it's hygienic reasons they choose not to have one. I have never had a pedicure so I booked one in, and although I was cringing a bit about the price (70) I ended up loving it. Edel, who worked her magic on my fossies, was so knowledgeable in all things beauty! She gave me lots of hints and trader tips and I just loved her easy manner! I would have bought everything she used had I had the funds! The food was good, not my usual kind of taste as I am veggie and experiment alot with food but there was something there to suit all. A special shout to Anne who served me my breakfast both mornings and brought me my lunch to my room. So sweet and attentive! I had the best 2 days and I'm so glad I went on my own! I came back glowing :) The best thing about the whole experience was that I was in my robe for the full 2 days bar an hour in the restaurant. I even wore it for dinner on day 2 in the bar Lounge! Tips: As expected it's expensive, vso I brought nuts, crackers and that kind of snax. I also brought a bottle of wine. There is no coffe facilities in the room, no bar(they are loosing money on that I say :) or fridge. Ask for an extra set of robes and slippers straight away. I used one for my room and loafing about and one set to get wet in the spa. I also had a set of knickers and bra in a zip lock that I put my swimsuit in when I was done, so I could go to the relaxing room straight after without bring in a soggy suit or stark ;) I downloaded loads of movies beforehand and brought on my iPad. Do room service for a meal on one day and have it on your balcony! I did one phonefree day and it added to my sense of relax. Go, it's great! I'm already saving for my next trip!
