“Absolutely fantastic”

We spent the weekend here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and it was wonderful. We had the afternoon tea, and the tasting menu in the Andre Garrett restaurant in the evening which were superb. Some of the best food we have ever had.
We enjoyed the gardens, the parts of the spa that were open and the hotel itself. The staff were friendly, helpful and always attentive without being obtrusive.
We would love to go back and do it all again.

“Sumptuous country retreat”

Returned to Clivedon for a romantic weekend. It is a 5 star, low key, exquisite country retreat. My partner and I once again had a beautiful suite of rooms, with lovely views. The food is excellent and we were happy to eat at the hotel, although there are plenty of michelin star restaurants around. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. It is open to the public during the day as a National Trust property, so there are lots of people around, particularly in the afternoon, but this does not detract from the hotel. I would definitely reccommend the luxury spa treatments. It's the sort of place to go to relax, unwind and enjoy yourself. At the end of every stay there, I always wish I was staying another day- and this visit was no different!

“THE ULTIMATE ENGLISH MANOR HOUSE EXPERIENCE”

This was very very special experience. Set in the most beautiful acreage along the Thames River, this manor house now celebrating 350 years with the most amazing gardens that the public are welcome share for picnics at the weekend. We had a large room overlooking the gardens of which we walked for hours in the afternoon. The restaurant is of the highest quality although in saying that there are several alternative areas to eat. Breakfast in the main dinning room was fabulous, selection of menu quite extensive and staff could not have been more informed or professional. There is absolutely nothing this experience could be improved on.....superb
