Chewton Glen: Hampshire

Hampshire luxury privately owned Country House Hotel & Spa situated on the edge of New Forest National Park and within walking distance of the seafront.

Set in 130 acres of picturesque grounds, Chewton Glen is only 90 miles from Central London by car, and within easy reach of Christchurch, Bournemouth and Southampton.

The hotel offers a choice of comfortable traditionally-styled luxury country house rooms and rooms with a more modern classic decor with views either overlooking the parkland or slightly more secluded with their own balconies.

A special effort was made to make this hotel as family and child-friendly as possible: from the option to stay in the Coach House Suites (ideal family accommodation split over two floors and easily accommodating 2 children downstairs and 2 parents up-stairs), to the gorgeous mini bathrobes and slippers and free meals for under 5's. With its 130 acres of grounds and parkland, Chewton Glen is a great place to explore and enjoy activities with the family in the surroundings of a world-class luxury hotel.

With a choice of private event space from 1 to 140 guests and its convenient location, Chewton Glen is also the perfect luxury 5 star conference and wedding venue, world renowned for its ability to pamper discerning individual guests.

The Dining Room at Chewton Glen, is a truly cosmopolitan and quintessentially English restaurant. Offering a nexus of beautiful conservatories, intimate dining spaces and a stunning open wine room.

The hotel features a stunning, award winning luxury spa, perfectly embodying the unique purity of its woodland and coastal location.

Privacy at Tree House Suites

Chewton Glen offers an extra opportunity to enjoy a private and peaceful vacation with its unique Treehouse suites.

The Treehouses are hidden in the grounds of Chewton Glen in a secluded and peaceful wooded valley. They are a short stroll or buggy ride from the main hotel(200-400 Metres) and feature king-size beds, flat screen TVs and free-standing baths.

Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the Treehouses with light and give guests panoramic views of the tree canopy and valley beyond. Breakfast is delivered to your door each morning through a secret hatchway.

“Meze Spa Day for perfect peace and harmony !”

I visited for an indulgent Spa Day...pure bliss from 0830 until 1730. Breakfast, very healthy and also an Alkaline buffet lunch which was fabulous. Included in the Meze package was a 45 minute head neck and back massage followed by a 25 min facial.Later on we had a manicure. Glorious. All the facilities were clean and fresh. Plenty of towels/robes and slippers. All the staff were helpful, pleasant and efficient.

“wonderful”

A truly fantastic escape from our busy lives. A real treat. We left feeling wonderfully relaxed and thoroughly spoilt. Delicious food, great setting, such attention to detail in our room. A really fabulous place to unwind. Would highly recommend and can't wait for our return next year.

“Meze Spa Day - supern”

I visited the Chewton Glen Spa twice this summer, as a treat for mum, and both times didn't disappoint. The facilities were superb, and treatments were very good. The Meze spa day is a good option with breakfast, lunch, and three facilities.
It is a busy spa with 18 treatment rooms, normally booked to capacity, but it's very well run and the staff are extremely well trained and make each guest feel special.
Gemma on reception coordinated both visits, and went above and beyond to make sure both mum and I were both well looked after - thank you.
The service offered sets this Spa apart from others in the area. Would recommend to others and definitely visit again!
