Just visited Bovey Castle's great western restaurant for Sunday lunch. It was given to myself and partner as a gift, we are amazed by the high standard of delicious food, the friendliness of all of the staff. The service was excellent.

“Stunning”
Stunning venue with beautiful views over Dartmoor. Castle was restored to high standard with great entrance hall and lounge areas with large fireplaces in each room. We chose standard room which was looking over front car park but still very nice. Brasserie was lively but food reasonable for price. Difficult to fault venue or service. Will go back again for winter break.

“Lovely afternoon tea ”
Myself and my mum came for afternoon tea today with a virgin experience voucher. We were greeted by very friendly staff and shown to a gorgeous table with such comfy chairs. Lovely. We were then able to choose between many different types of tea and presented with our chosen tea along with sandwiches scones (with Jam and cream of course!) and amazing cakes! What an amazing time we had. We were able to have a fresh pot of tea each once we'd finished our first. Our waiter - Martin couldn't do enough to help us. To top it off the hotel parrot 'Beaky' offered wonderful entertainment! What a fab afternoon we had. Please offer our thanks to your chefs. The egg mayonnaise was the best I've ever had! Thank you.
