A beautiful house in a beautiful location! The room, was simply amazing, the food awesome. (Some of the best flavours, I’ve ever tasted.)
But the warmth of the welcome and the great conversation was outstanding and sets Screebe House apart. It has all the warmth of a family home, combined with service and quality you would expect in a 5 star hotel. I really enjoyed meeting everyone!
Sadly, just one night for us. I loved it, my wife loved it and we will go back.

"Lovely and relaxing stormy weekend"
My friend and I stayed at Screebe House for two lovely evenings last week. Although it was rough weather, the property was charming and had a cozy feel inside. Ursula tended to our every need, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The spa facilities are excellent and the views from the dining room are stunning. I would highly recommend Screebe House to anyone looking for a relaxing stay off the beaten path and hope to return one day.

"A Connemara Gem!"
We decided to take a trip West over Halloween and Screebe House was exactly what we wanted. We had a lovely welcome from Ursula and Marion. Our room was kindly upgraded and the view out over Camus Bay was gorgeous. The whole area is so peaceful and restful, perfect for a getaway. The room was very tastefully decorated with luxurious linen and an extremely powerful large shower. It was lovely and warm too which was nice as the weather wasn’t the best! We dined at Screebe House on our first night and the dinner served was delicious, a nice choice of local produce cooked to a very high standard. Michelle our waitress was really friendly and gave nice hints and tips about the local area. Breakfast was equally as tasty with lots of choice of both hot and cold options. We didn’t use the spa as we forgot our swimming gear but we had a look, it was really warm and clean and I would definitely use if I went again. Overall it was a wonderful stay, very tranquil, no TVs in the rooms adds to this! Although one can be requested if you wish. Nice roaring fire in the evening is the ideal way to spend a cold evening with a glass of wine! We’ll definitely return to Screebe House, many thanks again Ursula for your hospitality.

"Beautiful rooms in scenic area"
This small hotel was very restful in a country setting. Our room was decorated with beautiful fabrics, a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was superior with a large walk in shower. It was one of the nicest places we stayed in our two weeks in Ireland. The breakfast was cooked to order and was very good. Dinner was also very good. The reception rooms were comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
