"Simply the best vacation we've ever had!" We stayed at Trump Doonbeg from June 15 to the 25th in one of the cottages. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The food at Trumps bar was wonderful. Our cottage was perfect. We stayed with our 2 children, 22 and 19, and the 3 bedroom cottage worked out wonderfully. But it was the staff that made it the most wonderful family vacation we have had. Gerry helped us with everything we needed and went out of his way to make us feel like part of the family. The staff of Trumps bar took wonderful care of us. The food and service was so terrific that we ate the every day, at least once! My wife's family has a house further to the south on the beautiful Beara Peninsula , but I will want to stay at Trump Doonbeg every time we visit Ireland! Simply the finest resort we have ever experienced, Anywhere! Our sincerest thanks!

"Perfect" The experience at this hotel is wonderful. The food, views, staff and room are of the highest quality. You don't have to play golf to enjoy this facility although playing next to the Atlantic must be great. Highly recommend.

One of the finest places to visit and stay while in Ireland. For Golfers it is definitely a paradise. Situated on the west cost on the dunes of Atlantic the course appears to be very challenging. The place was impeccable and orderly. Room with the special mattress, extra soft sheet and the pillows would not let you get out of it. Restaurant food was delicious with great presentation. The ambiance was great, with the ocean view for everyone to watch the beautiful sunset while dining.

"Absolutely Perfect!" Everything was perfect! – I absolutely loved Doonbeg – I had gone with mixed feelings – not quite knowing what to expect – it was all amazing ! Firstly the photos do not do it justice – the setting and scenery are magnificent,- I would reiterate everything in the previous reviews - the food was divine, the rooms were gorgeous – so comfortable and well equipped. Lovely hot showers and beautiful amenities. I do not actually play golf but went with friends that did- they loved the golf course, but that didn't mean I was bored, there is plenty to do in the area and if you like walking the area is stunning - even in the middle of winter. I particularly loved all of the public areas in the hotel – all the little nooks and crannies that you discovered and could sit in and relax – I just needed longer to make the most of them! The restaurant and bar were great I think the best memory will be of being in my lovely cosy room looking out at the magnificent coast, with the wind howling, and the waves lashing against the beach and feeling so very safe and well looked after. Everything, and I mean everything was brilliant – the staff were all really helpful and friendly without being condescending, nothing was too much trouble Doonbeg is a hidden treasure and I can’t praise it enough
