"Wonderful week at Bansha Castle!"
We had an absolutely amazing experience at Bansha Castle. It is such a beautiful place and so comfortable to spend a week here. We had a full house with kids and adults with plenty of space for everyone to spread out a bit. Also, we got to enjoy breakfasts that were so good and a wonderful dinner made for us as well! And so accessible to all great sights- so centrally located to enjoy so much of Ireland. Highly recommend!!

"So so good"
It was a big birthday for my wife and I and also our 40th wedding anniversary. I spent many weeks researching into venues that would give us something special for our entire family, a group of 17 people.
I talked to several venues by email enquiring about this but the response and help from Teresa stood out and it was an easy decision to book Bansha Castle for our celebration.
It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Teresa was very easy to work with and gave good advice, we arranged in advance for sandwiches to be waiting for our arrival. Also arranged a cooked breakfast for us all one morning and then a really nice family dinner one evening. All the catering was so good and really well done with everyone in the family really delighted.
The welcome to Bansha from both John and Teresa was warm and genuine. Lovely home made scones waiting and a really helpful tour of the castle.
The castle is really good with lots of space and really good facilities, 17 of us and lots of space for everyone. Lovely terrace to sit out in the evening and to top it all off the weather was brilliant.
So to end a really big thank you to John & Teresa for all their help for what was a really good family gathering.

"Magical time at the Castle"
Our large family took a trip to Ireland and the first week was spent at Bansha Castle. John and Teresa were wonderful hosts and you can tell they take a lot of pride in the castle and grounds. The kitchen had everything you would need to make big breakfasts for the group. We spent a lot of time sitting in the back courtyard playing games. The flowers smelled lovely. We really enjoyed walking in to the little town of Bansha too. The gas station had a carvery and great breakfast sandwiches. Nellies is a great little pub with friendly people and good little sandwiches. We got fabulous meat from the butcher in town too. The last night of our stay we had been invited to attend a community fundraiser concert of Trad music-- very talented musicians and singers and then after when we went to Nellies pub across the street- some of the musicians started singing and playing in there as well. Including John the owner of the Bansha Castle- he was very good! I could go on and on but just wanted to say thank you for a great stay and wonderful memories!! It is perfect for a large group!

"Pre Wedding Celebration"
We rented Bansha Castle for 3 nights prior to our wedding. Couldn't have asked for a better venue to host the whole family and for preparations on the morning of the big day. John and Teresa made us feel like it was our own and the house itself is clearly a labour of love- beautifully restored with all modern conveniences. A fantastic few days that made the whole event all the more special. We are already planning our return!

"Worth every penny (euro)!"
We wee a group of 24 people including 5 children, who enjoyed a week vacation on the 26th May 2018. The accommodation was so spacious with so many different areas that we can all relax or eat in. This ensured that we arrived in Ireland as friends and returned back home . still as friends!
Excellent location and hospitality of the Irish was enhanced by our stay at Bansha.
