"First class lunch experience"
My husband and myself had lunch here recently. We had excellent service, the atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The menu contained a wide choice, and the food was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised with the price. All in all I would recommend The Saddle Room for lunch. It is essential to book in advance.

We had dinner at the Saddle Room and enjoyed the meal tremendously. The pre theatre meal was extremely well priced and delicious. I had the plaice which was nicely prepared, and my daughter had risotto, also delicious. The wine we ordered was not cold enough initially, but the wine steward corrected that. The waiters were good and the rooms were elegant and attractive. Really pleased.

Wanted somewhere special to celebrate out wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed.
From the moment we arrived the staff ensured that our evening was special, seating us in a romantic booth, wishing us a happy anniversary and continuing to be attentive all night.
The food ..... what can I say ...... why has this restaurant not been Michelin starred? The freshest oysters, beautifully cooked scallops and the most delicious Chateaubriand, seasoned and cooked to perfection then carved at the table and a wonderful selection of deserts. The wine list was extensive and there is definitely something to suit every palate.
We had a wonderful experience that night and I just want to thank everybody for making our anniversary celebration so perfect.

"Fabulous settling and delicious food"
Great place to make an impression, fabulous historic decor and settling, it brings you back to a more decadent era, and makes an occasion special. The food and service was top class. Lovely menu, extensive wine list, faultless to be fair. And the best part, it’s not as expensive as you would think! Definitely worth splashing out.
