The Marker Brasserie: Dublin

With a sharp focus on Irish, locally sourced produce, the Brasserie is a refreshing addition to the Grand Canal restaurant scene. Located right beside the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, it’s the perfect pre-theatre destination.

The rich elemental theme of the Marker comes to life in this space. The bold, abstract ceiling is complimented by modern, minimal furniture, including legendary design icon - the Panton chair. A spectacular grey marble table dominates the space, while private booths and banquette seating create just the right amount of privacy for intimate dining.

In Ireland, the traditional way of cooking is to create simple dishes, built around one great ingredient. The Brasserie is no different. From succulent rare breed pork or prime dry-aged beef we try to stay true to our Irish roots. The Brasserie is the flagship of The Marker Hotel food journey, and home to many of our trailblazing new food concepts such as Le Drunch, our Sunday late lunch.

The Brasserie is a destination for food lovers who love to try something different, yet share a genuine passion for discovering simple, unfussy dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, that let the food speak for itself.

For a unique night out in Dublin visit The Marker Brasserie for one of Dublin’s best dining experiences. Visitors to The Marker Brasserie can enjoy post dinner drinks on our Rooftop Bar & Terrace looking out over the stunning views, where the buzz of urban city life meets the raw beauty of the mountains.

"Post matinee, pre theatre, menu" We had been to the Bord Ghais Energy theatre for a matinee, drinks at rooftop bar then ate off the pre theatre menu. Good value. Good food and service.

"Superb Mother'sDay Special" I was treated to Drunch here yesterday....a group of 4 of us. I was presented with an ice cold tall glass of bubbly on arrival and a beautifully presented banana bread cake when I was leaving. The staff were fabulously attentive. The menu and the standard of food was really good and surprisingly good value.....We will definitely come here made my Mother's Day! Thank you.

"Great service and food" Ate here with a family group after a show in The Bord Gais. The decor and layout of the brasserie is lovely. We were served by Lee on the day. He was excellent and provided great service. I hope the service charge goes directly to him! The food was also great and beautifully presented. There is also a good value children's option. Although the portion size is not huge, it means you get to try the starters and deserts. Highly recommended.

"Excellent service" My girlfriend and I were treated to a wonderful night out in the Brasserie, the food was amazing and the service was excellent. A special thanks to our host Lee who was very informative about what wine to choose to complement our meal and couldn't have been more friendly. We will definitely be back for more dining in the future.

One of my favorite hotels in Dublin and a lot to do with the warm welcome and amazing food, ( rooms here are beautiful and I’m a big fan of Malin & Goetz toiletries) last week I enjoyed a 4 course dinner designed and prepared by the Team , partnering with Mort & Chandon and led by the supremely talented Gar Mullins. Beautiful coriander & lime soup, beef fillet and a truly lovely dessert. I had the beetroot & goats cheese while others enjoyed thé gambas. One to remember!
