Dining at Monart

We are staying here at the moment and are so impressed.I cannot recommend this hotel enough , it really is worth every penny start to finish . The staff,the spa,the accommodation,the restaurant are all above a five star standard and I cannot wait to return. Thank you all so much for such a brilliant weekend . See you very soon

Amazing stay at Monart
I have just returned from a girlie night away at Monart and it was an exceptional stay. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, the staff, food and treatments were exceptional. I have been to Monart many times before and it's always been excellent but they've gone up again in my estimation. It was such a safe, secure environment and the staff were so attentive and professional. We ate in the bar and the restaurant and the food was some of the best I have eaten. A huge thanks to Mark, Lorna and the team for making our stay so very special, it truly was the most amazing experience.

"Amazing experience"
I stayed with my Mum and sisters And had an amazing experience. We stayed for two nights which I would recommend to really experience the tranquil atmosphere and retreat like feeling. We had a meal in the restaurant the first night which was amazing and afternoon tea the second day. The breakfast was wonderful with such a great variety. The staff were all amazing and are there to make your stay as relaxing as they can. I can’t wait to return

"An experience not to be missed"
This was my second visit to the Monart as as expected it did not disappoint. From the very moment I entered the grounds the stress melts away. Friendly professional staff that welcome everyone wonderfully. The decor of the rooms is on point and it is clear the management put a lot of effort into maintaining the spa throughout. The resort is spotless everywhere you go including the beautifully manicured landscapes gardens. The facilities are second to none in the spa area. Despite a hiccup at breakfast the manager dealt with things quickly and followed through with a complimentary bottle of wine at dinner. We had a fantastic time including the sauna ritual delivered by Nicola which was fun. The staff are what makes the monart Lisa and Jane in the garden room and Mary in the main restaurant were attentive and professional. Well done to all the staff for making the monart a wonderful experience. I will return again.

"A true 5 star experience"
My girlfriend booked a two night stay for us as a birthday present to me and we just had the most amazing time. We had a two night stay in a king room with a balcony and views over the forest surrounding the hotel. The rooms are huge and incredibly comfortable. In particular the bed was amazing and I’d love to get one at home! There was twice daily maid service keeping the room tidy and the bed made which was lovely.

We ate in the main restaurant the 1st night and in the garden bar the 2nd the food in both was delicious and very high quality for the very reasonable price. The food in the main restaurant in particular was amazing. The food was up to the standard of any fine dining restaurant. There was also an excellent wine list. Breakfast was also very impressive with more than enough food to keep you going for the day. We loved that they used amazing local produce in all the meals and that they highlight the source of their ingredients in the menus.

We made extensive use of the incredible spa throughout our stay. There is a huge amount of variety within the thermal spa area to keep you going for hours. On one trip to the spa we followed the recommended programme and left feeling incredibly relaxed. We both had Swedish massages and they were both amazing and left us feeling like new people. Up there with the best massages we’ve ever had. Thanks to Tracey and Katie for the massages! Also the bathrobes provided are so comfortable we were very sad to have to get back into normal clothing when we were leaving.

The look and feel of the hotel throughout is an incredibly high standard, in particular the beautiful garden. I would like to highlight that the service throughout from the moment we were met at the car to the moment we were given our car back was incredible. Everyone was welcoming, helpful and professional. There were always plenty of staff on hand to help with any query.

One piece of constructive feedback we have would be the addition of tea and coffee making facilities to the room. Despite this contacting room service was very easy and I get that they don’t want you to have to lift a finger during your stay.

All in all the Monart was in incredible experience and for what you get actually great value for money. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world and the Monart really stands apart for the experience and service and good value. We travelled down from Belfast (actually a very easy drive) and will be recommending it to our friends. We are already saving for our next visit and can’t wait to come back.
