"Outstanding Sunday lunch"
All four of us had a stunning lunch on a recent visit. Sea trout, Roasted Onion squash velouté and scallop starters were excellent. Mains of cod, pheasant and salt baked celeriac were equally fabulous. Those who had the cranberry fool raved about it - certainly the cherry blossom foam/ sorbet on top was very clever. Milk chocolate and hazelnut tart was very good. Service was good. But the food shines in this restaurant.
