l’Gueuleton: Dublin

This charming Five Star restaurant, serving excellent French Bistro food and wine, is on the ground floor of the old Fade Street Tenements, in the Creative Quarter of Dublin’s City Centre.

Head Chef Aoife Barker brings the freshest of ingredients straight from the farm to the kitchen. Some dishes are classics, but, as the seasons' change so do the menus, so you will always find something new and exciting to try alongside favourites such as our famous French Onion Soup, Chargrilled Ribeye, Slow Roast Rare Breed Pork Belly. Even snails!

L’Gueuleton exudes rustic charm. With a combination of exposed red brick walls, industrial beams, copper ceilings, blackboard menus and educated staff, this place hits all the right notes for a luxurious dining experience.

Outside boasts one of Dublin’s best on-street terraces; covered and heated, with a view on to the Victorian façade of the George’s Arcade

We are delighted to announce that l'Gueuleton will be taking part in the Dine In Dublin Festival this year!

"Wonderful food, great atmosphere"
Delicious food and very friendly pleasant girl serving us. Table was dark and so hard to see the menu - had to use our phone lights but we were brought a few extra tea lights which helped.

But the food was so tasty. From
The clam and ink linguini to the goats cheese to the rib eye to the chocolate cake. Everything was delicious.

And the vibe in the restaurant was so cool too. Super ambiance. Loved it all.

"Best brunch in town"
I just love this restaurant, I've eaten here a few times, i get cravings for their posh ham and cheese sandwich they have for lunch but I never had their brunch until recently, and it has to be the best brunch menu in town with extremely friendly service, looking forward to going back.

"Amazing food"
The quality of the food when we went here this week was way better than we would have expected. Seriously, this should be a fine dining restaurant. The service was great but it was the food that really stood out. I had a starter with scallops and oxtail which was REALLY tasty and beautifully presented, as were all the dishes, and followed it up with Wicklow venison which was rich, dense and perfectly cooked. The desserts are often a let-down in French restaurants, but not here. We shared lemon curd tart with raspberry ice-cream (which came with bts of candied raspberry - nice touch!) and a chocolate square which looked like a brownie but was silky smooth and very more-ish. If your visiting Dublin - or just a local like me - and looking for somewhere a little special I'd heartily recommend it.
