"Should be top Spot"
Jacobs lagging in the mid 40's in Cork's best restaurant category is a joke!
I've been eating there for years and could seriously not fault one adpect of it.

Set in an old Turkish bath building the decor & ambience are top notch & and in my opinion this is as vital an element as the food in the whole dining out experience.

The staff are attentive, professional & extremely pleasant.

The choice of breads served complimentary after your order is placed is only sublime.

There is always a wide variety of cuisine on offer & the quality is always top class plus a great choice of wines also from an extensive menu.

I"ve taken guests from all over the country to eat there over the years and they've always been blown away by the place.

I just don't know if its people like me who take it for granted or diners trying to keep it a secret to make sure they"ll get a booking there that we just don"t bother reviewing it. So I would urge the diners in those categories to take 5 out, do the review & get Jacobs up the ladder to the No1 slot where it deservingly belongs as Cork's best Eatery.

"Wonderful Dining delights"
Had dinner with friends here... Fabulous restaurant with 5 star food. Staff were more than attentive and food arrived promptly. Met the fabulous Trisha as well which added to the experience. I had the black pudding starter and the salmon main and it was Soo delicious!

"Best Dinner we had in Cork!"
Excellent meal, service and ambiance! This romantic spot in the home of an old Turkish bathhouse - all furnishings very sheik! Best meal we had while visiting the area! The scallops were melt in your mouth good. I had the "bacon rib/chop" and my husband had the pork belly - it was truly delicious! I was not sure about it all - but on the recommendation of the server tried her suggestions and we were not disappointed. She also suggested a beautiful bottle of wine - that was also reasonably priced - a lovely evening! I do suggest reservations!
