"Great!"
I've eaten here fairly frequently over many years; and at this stage have experienced nearly everything mainstream on the menu at some time or other, either for lunch and for dinner. The white fish of the day changes almost daily; and is always very fresh. The rib-eye steak has a great flavour. The management is clearly very discerning in choosing the restaurant's food suppliers. Chef is good too. So are the two house wines. I think they do vegetarian and some curry dish also, but haven't tried those myself.

Great service with very friendly staff
The crab starter was great and chowder was fabulous. We then had the pheasant and king prawn for mains. The nicest meal we have had in a while with a lovely bottle of Spanish Albariño .

"Something Special"
We went to this restaurant for dinner for my son's birthday as we always wanted to try this place. We wanted something special. We loved the food, the service was very good and friendly, it got very busy so we left early. It is not cheapest but the quality of the food was excellent and and the menu is very varied.

"So Good We Returned the Next Night"
We saw that Isaac's Restaurant was filled and we decided it must be good. It was great! So great, we dined there two nights in a row. We ordered from the daily specials—soups, main courses with fresh fish, and if we weren’t completely stuffed, we ate dessert. No dish disappointed us. I have been told to watch my salt intake; but many restaurants rely on salt as their primary seasoning—not Isaac's. Each dish’s flavour came from expertly combined ingredients along with herbs and spices. With every table occupied, the one downside of the restaurant was the noise level. But the staff was attentive and welcoming.

"Birthday get-together"
Delighted we booked here to celebrate our friends 50th birthday. We all had the 2 course meal, great food and great value. I told our lovely lady server that we were celebrating a birthday and at the end of our evening, she brought out a surprise desert with a candle. Very thoughtful
