Fishy Fishy is a family-run restaurant in the heart of Kinsale run by proprietors and husband and wife duo Martin & Marie Shanahan. The successful duo have been in the seafood business since 1990 originally starting out as a fish shop and deli and have expanded into a two-floor restaurant with an outdoor area now known as Fishy Fishy.

Martin and his team have an abundance of experience with seafood so you are guaranteed the freshest of seafood each day. Martin even likes to know exactly who caught his seafood that morning! Expect creative dishes bursting with flavour, fresh local ingredients, a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of space for all the family and friends.

We had a wonderful early dinner at Fishy Fishy today. The three of us had the chowder, two had monkfish scampi and I had warm seafood salad. We were all very happy with our choices which tasted delicious . I have been going to this restaurant for many years and Martin and Maries previous restaurant also and was never disappointed. If you haven’t been, go see for yourself.

AMAZING full stop...food, service and place! A restaurant where I don't mind spending a bit more because it's so worth it. highly recommended and will definitely visit again.

The restaurant is very nice and cozy. Service is on high level and the waitresses are very polite. The food is very delicious and I can recommend this place for lunch or dinner.
