East Room at Plassey House is located in the heart of the University of Limerick with a long-standing history dating back to the 1600s. Sample the evening tasting menu after visiting some of the University of Limerick's visual Art Collections including the National Self Portrait Collection of Ireland and The Irish American Cultural Institute's O'Malley Collection, including paintings by Mainie Jellett, Evie Hone, Paul Henry and Jack B. Yeats.
It was my first time dining in this restaurant and I really enjoyed it. The portions were tiny but the food was incredible. The menu was unique and I have not tried anything like it before. I was really glad to go there. I recommend !

As always, the guys make you feel so welcome from the minute you walk through the door. Tasting menu was a delight and I could have eaten my bodyweight in the Johnstone beef & beef dashi. Thanks again for another mouth watering dining experience. Carrie & Ash.

I have eaten here twice and both times have been amongst the best dining experiences I have had. Food is phenomenal, staff are second to none and the setting is perfect. Words don't do this justice, it is a must experience for anyone who can!
