Elaborately decorated with oak wainscoting and other formal features, the dining room is graced by the soothing tones of a traditional Irish harpist. Excellent food. A really memorable experience and very good staff.

Excellent meal (although we were briefly forgotten)
This was our second time dining at the Earl of Thomond, and it was excellent. Early on we did need a few extra minutes deciding on what we waned to order and after that we did seem to be forgotten for quite a while- it was a challenge to get a second drink to the table. The harpist who plays is a highlight- she manages to combine classical and play some rock and pop on the harp and it is excellent and noteworthy!

"Wonderful beautiful meal"
We went here with our family on the last night of our vacation, and it was a lovely way to finish a trip. Every course was excellent, and the wine list was more extensive than most of what we’ve seen in Ireland. They even gave us a cake for our anniversary - enough to feed the whole party! It was a delightful meal, and all the staff were very friendly!

"Superb meal and service"
Went there for dinner every night, it was so good. The personal service, from the greeting, service, sommelier are truly impeccable. The food, room and presentation outstanding! The fish dishes fantastic! Don’t leave without trying the desert soufflé. Our waitress A.L truly made this an unforgettable experience!

"Very Good Dining"
The restaurant is located in the Dromoland Castle and provides a very elegant atmosphere to enjoy a fine meal. The menu is broad in scope, they have a good wine list and views of the lake next to the Castle. Staff work hard to make your dining experience special.
Would recommend this restaurant and strongly recommend advance reservations.

"Excellent food and service"
We were glad we were able to enjoy the wonderful food and service during our stay. In our experience, on site restaurants often leave something to be desired. This was truly an exception!
