“Might as well eat in a castle if you stay in a castle” We did not dine in the formal dining room... we had salads in the bar/lounge. The food was very good and the casual ambience was terrific. Breakfast was included and the was a sumptuous buffet... there was also an amazing menu to select from. A breakfast like that is a treat and will take you through the day

“Food + Service + Ambience = First Class” This is by far the best and most elegant place to eat in the Limerick-Ennis area. The food is locally sourced, in season and well prepared. Choose what you like from the menu and it will be good. On this particular dinner occasion we had delicious scallops in bacon, veal, pan fried John Dory and lamb. Please make room for the desserts and petit fours. The wines, even by the glass (Walnut Block Pinot Noir) are extremely good and the selection caters to all palates and purses. The dining room itself is beautiful with its original lovingly faded velvet wall coverings, giant chandeliers, large mirrors and fireplaces and the view across the lake and golf course is beautifully green. Some of the senior dining staff have been here for years and they are a testament to what makes Dromoland a very a special place. Note that a dress code of jackets is required for gentlemen and most guests are dressed in their 'best' for dinner.

“Awesome” We had Tea at the Castle. This is a must have while in Ireland. That was a great experience. The tea sandwiches were very taste.
