The Brunel Restaurant

At Tinakilly Country House Hotel guests can expect to enjoy a fine blend of modern and traditional cuisine in Tinakilly's Brunel Restaurant. With its 2 AA Rosettes, the Brunel Restaurant is regarded as one of the best restaurants in Wicklow. The Head Chef and his team pride themselves in making our own jams, marmalades, chutneys and delicious freshly baked brown & white bread. Fresh herbs are supplied by Tinakilly's own herb garden. Fresh fish, game and Wicklow lamb are sourced from local suppliers where ever possible. Tinakilly's wine list features many interesting wines from around the world and a wealth of more traditional old world wines. The list is continually evolving to keep in line with our seasonal menu however the ethos behind it remains the same, providing stunning quality wines at great value prices.

This beautifully restyled dining room offers a relaxed ambience to compliment our new evening dinner and A la carte menus. The spacious feeling from the large windows overlooking the gardens together with the warmth of the soft furnishings sets the tone for a delicious evening meal with friends or family.

"Fantastic Location and Food"
We are here before attending an event at the House. Amazing location, breathtaking setting set the scene for quality food. I had the lamb, which was succulent and gently flavoursome. A delight. Really made an impact for the evening ahead. Thank you!

"Dining in the garden of Eden 2"
Beautiful food with a homely twist Have eaten here many times over the last year Friendly efficient staff.Lunch in the dining room is very good value.
The Gardens are exceptional and the views just out of this world .It is heavenly to sit and have your coffee in the gardens, and commune with nature.

"Excellent dinner!"
We arrived at the hotel a bit later than expected, but with enough time to get dinner before the kitchen stopped orders at 8:30. So lucky! Our kids can be picky, but everyone loved this high-quality meal. Scallops and filet cooked to perfection for me! And a solid wine list. The creme brûlée and panna cotta were the icing on top! Great service and excellent venue. (Breakfast was great too!)

"Great food"
We were staying at the hotel and our package price included the three-course dinner and breakfast. Both meals were fantastic. There were excellent choices available on the three-course set evening menu. I haithe scallop appetizer and my wife had the crab and smoked salmon. Both were absolutely delicious. For mains we both had the black sole with garlic prawns which was beautifully prepared. We were both too full to have our dessert so we asked if we could take them back to the room which was absolutely no problem. Crème brûlée was perfectly prepared and my wife’s chocolate torte was also delicious. The breakfast was out of this world. Huge buffet selection and a menu for cooked breakfast that enabled you to order pretty much anything you wanted. All the food was very well prepared and if I was in the local area I would definitely drop by the place for dinner or breakfast
