We were given afternoon tea for a golden wedding gift
We had afternoon tea we were delighted with the lovely selection of sandwiches lovely fillings a little spoon with smoked salmon we then had fresh hot scones with jam and fresh cream the cakes were really too nice to eat we did attempt a few but had to get a doggy box also we had sweets a tall choc tube filled with strawberry mouse and also macaroons it was delicious it was a new menu starting that day ...the staff were so attentive and could not do enough for you and so friendly would definitely recommend and will certainly be back

Fantastic stay
We had a fantastic experience. Early check in was granted as we were getting ready for a wedding. Hotel is beautiful. Made to feel very welcome. It was also our anniversary, we received prosecco and a a happy anniversary dessert. Very appreciated.

"Family Wedding"
Sometimes you just realise what a classic hotel is all about and that describes The Waldorf Astoria. Rooms are elegant and beautifully furnished and beds are super comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a great selection of everything you could ask for but sadly sometimes you just can't please everyone as the table next to ours made such a fuss about the missing porridge. We were served by Angelos who deserves a special mention super attentive and nothing to much trouble a credit to the hotel. My thoughts if you can give it a whirl it's worth the experience.

"Awesome mini-moon stay"
Had a fantastic stay for a few days following our wedding. Hotel were lovely in welcoming and congratulating us, with chocolates left in the room. The staff in general were excellent, from front desk all the way to house keeping. Even though the hotel is a historic building, the hotel is well maintained with modern features where appropriate. Would definately visit again!

"Wedding venue"
Absolutely fantastic venue for a wedding.

Obviously each one will be treated individually but I was blown away with this one.

Piper on arrival, so many happy cheerful staff looking after your every need.

Rooms are amazing.

We had drinks on arrival, free bar organised and also nibbles arranged prior to evening meal.

Every part of wedding orchestrated fabulously.

Had the time of my life with so many amazing friends.

Evening meal was a delight, from the elaborate way of serving guests to the constant attention to fill your glass.

All dishes looked and tasted fantastic. Great choice of dishes.

The only issue I had in whole day was guests after hours were allowed through to the bar, but I did feel we were then treated differently by staff. Obviously wanting to end this very special day.
