"All the staff at the G were fantastic. From the start, everyone was very friendly and professional to deal with. They were able to answer any questions we had and no request was too big or small. The hotel itself was an amazing venue and worked out really well for photos, especially as it rained constantly on the day so we had minimal pictures outside. The food exceeded expectations, especially the beef which arrived to everyone as ordered. Everyone got a kick out of the synchronised service at each table. Jana was great as our main coordinator. She talked us through all our options, took the time to meet us whenever we wanted, was able to draw on what the hotel had done for other weddings and made sure everything turned out the way we wanted. Any little extras we wanted were never a problem. She was there until after the meal on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly and even took a few pictures for us of guests leaving for the ceremony. She also managed to update the table plan when we had a guest cancel the morning of. We received so many compliments from our guests on venue choice, especially on how friendly the staff were and the food. We're so happy with our choice and would recommend it to anyone. We can't thank the staff of the G, especially Jana, enough."

"September Wedding"
We held our wedding in the G hotel in early September and had the best day of our lives. We are absolutely delighted that we chose the G hotel for our wedding reception.

Planning and holding a wedding in the midst of a pandemic could have been an incredibly stressful experience however, with the constant support and reassurance from the wedding coordinator Debbie the journey was as enjoyable as it could be during these uncertain times.

Our original wedding date was May 2020. Debbie and her colleagues in the G hotel were really flexible when it came to rescheduling our date and didn’t put any pressure on us which was amazing, their focus was on us truly having the wedding day that we had dreamed of.

Once we decided to go ahead with our September wedding Debbie and her colleagues at the hotel rowed in behind us to ensure everything was as stress free as possible. Instead of stressing we were able to enjoy the build up to the wedding. The day itself was more magical than we could have ever imagined. All of our guests were blown away by the reception and also the ballroom which Debbie and her team had presented beautifully taking our ideas on board. The service was incredibly professional. The hotel is unique whereby it is five star luxury with a really personal touch and calm down-to-earth atmosphere that makes you feel at home. We are still getting compliments on the quality of the food, it was restaurant standard for a wedding which people were amazed by. Maurice (food and beverage manager) was around the entire wedding weekend to offer support and ensure everything was going to plan.

We stayed in the Linda Evangelista suite the night of the wedding which was a lovely perk. We were able to get amazing photos with the G as a setting and with Galway city on their doorstep we got photos down shop street, the Claddagh and Salthill.

The G hotel will always hold a special place in our hearts and we are forever grateful to Debbie and Maurice and their team for delivering an unforgettable day for us and our guests. We could not recommend the G hotel enough.

We had our wedding and ceremony in this beautiful hotel, we would both highly recommend this hotel as an amazing wedding venue, the food was amazing, the reception room in the G really has the wow factor. From the moment we met with the wedding coordinator Debbie we knew we were safe hands nothing was ever too much, Roisin was also so helpful and went above and beyond what we expected to ensure we had a great day.
The Management and staff are amazing and are the real stars. Thank you Andrew, Roisin, Debbie and the G Team for making our Day so special Xxxx

"5 Stars every time"
Spent our ‘minimoon’ here after our wedding. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. Room was beautiful, breakfast was outstanding and food was to die for.

I was lucky enough to use the spa this time which was stunning. Amazing to think this gem is located in the heart of Galway City.

The staff there looked after us like royalty. Will definitely be back.

"Excellent"
We stayed for one night of our trip around Galway for our wedding anniversary. A bit of luxury and fun. Great service from the very friendly staff. Lovely dinner although restaurant very quiet as Sunday night. Excellent value as we got a flash deal. Would recommend.
