Lough Eske Castle Hotel Spa

Great staff.room location was quite a distance from reception and had to walk the whole way no easy access or lift .great room but bed was like a rock.really disappointed.

Had a lovely relaxing Spa morning this morning. What a treat and Doreen, my Therapist was excellent and had the softest hands and my hour long treatment just didnt last long enough. However after a lovely time in the Relaxation room I left refreshed, renewed and regenerated.

We've booked this as our wedding venue in 2022 so we were itching to stay over for a couple of nights as soon as COVID allowed us to do so! And we're already planning our next visit...
The resort/castle, rooms, food, staff - basically everything about this hotel is exactly what we look for. They always exceed our expectations and special shout out to Shea, Dylan and Johnny who were ever so helpful and friendly and always willing to go out of their way to make sure you're well looked after (but all the staff were great even the chef came out to talk to us at the table!) We were in one of the garden suites with our bear dog Charlie and it was a fantastic room and well suited to our needs. It was also right across from the spa which was a bonus! We had dinner in both the bar and the main restaurant and the food was flawless! We cannot wait to come back and it will certainly be a regular treat to ourselves from now on

Friendly, efficent staff, large comfortable bedrooms in main building, pet friendly in courtyard rooms, great spa and pool area. Food in both restaurants is top quality, good choice in breakfast menu, well maintained grounds

This is a lovely hotel with excellent facilities for a relaxing break. Staff are very friendly and rooms are very comfortable. It is a dog friendly hotel so the pet can stay in the garden suite rooms with you. The food is excellent and the spa is clean with free access to the pool and steam room. Spa treatments cost extra. We had afternoon tea included in our package and it was delightful and freshly made.

Only used the spa but if was a great experience
Visited on Tuesday for spa only.had a great time, the staff are excellent, so nice. Very upfront on the phone re cancellation fees etc.

Warmly welcomed had a great time, facilities were good, thermal hydropool was great, massage and relaxation room were super. Temp or oil and room could ha e been a little warmer but my fault not theirs for not pointing out. Think we will now come and stay next time we are up.

"Heaven on earth" On the day we arrived We both had treatments in in spa and these were outstanding (a special mention to sissi & Maria who were 1st class) it goes without saying that every single member of staff that we encountered on our stay are a credit to the hotel and the service was 1st class throughout.

The hotel and its grounds are very picturesque and peaceful – a great place for a walk if you’d like to venture out of the hotel. The spa facilities are top notch as were the treatments we received.

"Beautiful stay"
My husband bought me a stay here as a Christmas present and it was an amazing present. Check in was very efficient, informative and quick. Our room was amazing with loads of space, a four poster bed, double sinks, large bath etc. It was beautiful. We ate in the bar on the first night and the food was first class especially the tagliatelle. We used the facilities in the spa the next day and I have to say we really enjoyed it, the only think lacking was a few more beds in a relaxation room, we could only get one at a time. Breakfast is also excellent, special praise to the chef who was making fresh pancakes while getting everyone’s egg exactly as requested. He was very chatty and excellent customer service was offered. We ate in the restaurant the second night and again the food was excellent and a bit more special. We visited the spa again where we were booked in for treatments. We both had back and shoulder massages and a facial. I felt the pressure on mine could have been better, I did ask for strong pressure but it was not strong enough. The experience was lovely though and to finish off a brilliant weekend we had afternoon tea. Our server was very knowledgeable and our food again was excellent. All in all we had a very good visit and we hopefully be back soon.
