Fota Island Spa

We had the best time staying at Fota Resort for our Honeymoon in June. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the hotels Concierge Manager John who took us and our luggage upto our Suite and looked after us from the beginning right up the end of our stay. The room was absolutely Amazing, so much space and really comfortable. The facilities available were excellent. Concierge John recommended we get breakfast to the room and enjoy the spacious balcony in the sun which we did and it was fabulous. We enjoyed a meal at the Cove restaurant which was a fantastic experience and also had dinner and some drinks in the Amber Lounge on the other two nights. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious.
We enjoyed the most relaxing Spa treatments with Jennifer and Kasia. And the grounds and walking tracks around the resort were so peaceful and there were different distance tracks to choose from which was great!
The whole experience of staying at Fota Island Resort was extremely enjoyable and we couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay for the three nights after our wedding. John made our trip one to remember with his friendly mannerism and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as wonderful as it was. He added a lovely personal touch to our trip and we will definitely be returning to stay at the resort again. We cannot recommend him and the hotel enough.

"Fantastic hotel- couldn't have asked for more"
What a truly brilliant hotel, a stay made perfect by the wonderful staff. We were there for 3 nights for our friends wedding, from a very late check in after travel delays the staff couldn't have looked after us more. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful (I'd recommend the waffles) and the staff were really helpful. I had 2 great spa treatments, special shout out to Deirdre who did the most wonderful and relaxing pregnancy massage. At the wedding itself the food was delicious and again all the staff were great even sending a dessert up to our friend who was unwell in bed and couldn't make the wedding-again special shout out to the Maitre'd/manager who seemed to be everywhere at once and incredibly helpful.

What a Fantastic Weekend!!
If you are looking for a solo weekend away to escape from the day to day pressures of work and life, then this is the hotel for you. 5* Star Hotels can be expensive but this Hotel was worth every single dime. It literally has something to do for anyone. There is a huge and beautiful Spa where I spent at least 75% of my weekend- I mean why not? It has multiple choice of treatments and the hydrotherapy suite and relaxation room has a beautiful view of the woods. Everyone was extremely attentive and friendly throughout my stay. I will definitely be back!!

A fab stay
Booked a two night stay - wish it could have been longer. The lady who took my booking was just so nice and helpful. Hotel was fab. Really enjoyed the thermal suite especially after a day of sight seeing. We went to the wildlife park - the giraffes were so lovely - you get really close to them. The concierge at the front door was such a nice guy - gave us loads of tips on what to do and see. I got a small treatment in the spa and the lady was super nice. All in all, a fab two days.

"Definitely Recommended"
We had a lovely stay for our anniversary, all staff very friendly and helpful. we stayed for a couple of nights. we had a beautiful room with a lovely view and a plate of chocolate treats upon our arrival in our room with Happy Anniversary on it.. Serenity spa Treatment was so relaxing. excellent enjoyable stay. Thank you Fota Island Resort. F & G Dervan.

Unbelievable experience, we were brushed off our feet with everything and it kept getting better. The only regret is we didn’t stay longer. Will definitely return, the staff were so friendly and always helpful in every way. The spa treatment is something worth experiencing also

"Beautiful Spa"
A lovely way to relax and switch off, changing rooms are beautiful, really nice decor and not your bog standard changing rooms. Lots of spa treatments available and you get nice sliders to wear and not the standard cheap slippers. Robes are also fabulous also. Its a different experience here and you can tell that you are in a 5* hotel. I have stayed and used others spas with a 5* rating that do not come close. Staff very pleasant and attentive.
