We had 2 nights stay in the wonderful castle. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel special. Thank you to Gerald for greeting us with a warm smile, showing us around, and giving us the ideas for what we can see outside of the hotel . 5 ⭐️ to all the staff! The Spa Facial Treatment was very relaxing and really worth the money!! The food was wonderful

I was fortunate to stay in Castlemarytr Resort for two nights just before Christmas 2020. I stayed with my three sisters and we were celebrating a birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the food was delicious. Spending time in the pool and the spa was just heavenly. We soaked up the unique atmosphere at Knight's bar on both evenings and enjoyed cocktails at the foot of a huge Christmas tree.. a memory that will always stay with me. A special mention to both Kaan and Raouf who were so friendly, welcoming and professional. They really looked after us and made us feel at home. We look forward to returning in the future. Babymoon
Stayed here for our babymoon and booked into one of their lovely Junior Suites.
The room was fantastic! super comfy bed and the shower was amazing. Herself took a nice long bath and was pleasantly surprised by the never ending hot water.

She went for the spa treatment and had 2 treatments done - She noted that the spa's are separate for men and woman so no couples massages etc. This didn't affect us as while she was getting treatments done I was tasting whisky's at their lovely bar. The bar staff were attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about their drinks which was very nice to see

Went for a meal in the Bell Tower that evening and the food was simply exceptional - It felt quite posh in there but it was nice to dress up for dinner again - as we are expecting, nights out are few and far between. I had a prosecco before dinner and it was very impressive. i had the house red with dinner and the flawless too. The whole meal was simply out of this world and couldn't fault it.

Check was 12:00 which was a nice change as well. I cannot wait to come back here again. Easily one of the best stays i've ever had in a hotel in ireland.

"Spa Visit - Top Notch"
Today I visited the Spa at Castlemartyr Resort. The treatment I opted for was a package that included lunch and had the following, back exfoliation, back massage, facial and scalp treatment. From start to finish I found the service natural and top notch. The therapist was Sarah and of all the Spa’s that I have been to I can say the best massage also. Extremely professional. Great work all.

"5 * Spa Day - Simply Superb"
We arrived at 10.30am to avail of the leisure facilities before lunch. What a relaxing morning.We then had our lunch in the garden and basked in the sunshine amid the lush gardens until 2pm .
We returned to the Spa area where we had probably the best treatment we have ever had in any salon.
We were then brought to either a dark or light relaxation room , which was decorated beautifully , and was very peaceful.
The hotel and spa centre oozes luxury, and we were definitely pampered for the day...
Cant wait to return.

Great Girls Day Out
We went to Castlemartyr Resort for a girls day out in the spa and afternoon tea. The spa experience was outstanding. The facilities were fantastic with so many different areas to go to. The changing rooms are for the spa guests only so you don't have families changing for the pool. There are three places that you can relax before and after your treatments. A dark room, a light room and a couch area. There is also complimentary access to a vitality area consisting of a pool (separate for male and female), sauna and steam room. All the relaxation rooms have complimentary fruit, water and a variety of teas. The therapists were excellent, never rushing you, and the treatments themselves were excellent. We will definitely be going here again.
In the afternoon we went for Afternoon Tea in the Bell Tower Restaurant. We have had Afternoon Tea in other five star hotels and I have to say that this was the nicest afternoon tea we have ever had. The Bell tower is beautiful and very relaxing. The service was fantastic with special mention to Denis and Raouf. The food was top class. This was truly a five star experience and I would not hesitate to recommend it to everyone. Well done Castlemartyr! A five star hotel that gives a five star service!

Relaxation in Castlemartyr
The resort hotel is a very relaxing place. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the hotel is dog friendly. Food is very good and and the spa has a great range of treatments. The grounds are very beautiful with forest and lake walks. The cliff walk at Ballycotton in the region is worth doing.

"Wonderful experience"
Had a short stay here recently with the family and we hope to return again sometime. The hotel and grounds are truly magnificent.

Staff and service is exactly what you expect from a 5star.

We’ve stayed in “5 star” hotels in the past only to be disappointed but Castlemartyr truly is 5 star standard.

Our room was generously spacious, very comfortable and well laid out.

The service in the bar and restaurants was pleasant with plenty of dining options to choose from. Entertainment wasn’t to our taste but that’s no fault of the hotel.

We didn’t go golfing but we did use the pool and gym. The gym is well equipped, all areas were maintained well. My wife was very happy with the spa, her treatment and therapist were impressive.

We did experience a problem with safe but maintenance sorted it out promptly.

I’d gladly recommend the resort. We got upgraded on arrival and so I would suggest a suite rather than a room if the budget allows.
