Fantastic venue
I have just returned from an overnight stay at the K Club that included a round of golf on both the Smurfit and the Palmer courses.

I cannot praise the venue and staff highly enough. From the moment we arrived in our taxi to the time we left, the staff were fantastic. Alway on hand and willing to help.

The two courses were in top top condition and a joy to play. The only criticism I would have is that the food in the Palmer club house could be better. Three of our group had the chicken curry for lunch after playing and not one of them finished the meal. It was very bland and the chicken very dry. We mentioned this to the waitress and she was non plussed about it and didn’t offer an explanation or alternative meal.

The Thai restaurant in the Smurfit club house is fantastic, the evening meal we had was cooked to perfection.

I agree with some of the other comments that the prices are expensive, however you have to remember you are in a 5 star resort and with that comes a price

Overall I can highly recommend a trip to the K Club, I will certainly be returning

"Phenomenal Course"
Having played the Ryder cup course a number of times, yea it has some super holes but i have to say the smurfit is almost better, definitely better par 4s and 5s... Hell its a better course and as any enjoyable as any ive played. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Its an absolute must play golf course. Its up there with the big ones in Ireland.

"World class golf course. 2006 Ryder Cup"
Everything about this place is over the top; property, clubhouse, practice facilities, service, and especially the course. Very difficult, but fair. Gorgeous views everywhere. Well stocked pro shop with all the K Club monogrammed items you care to purchase. Highly recommended. Not cheap, but most bucket list items aren’t!

Beautiful course
Beautiful "Park land" style golf course; not traditional "Links-style", Ireland course though. Scenic, great shape, and helpful staff in the pro shop. One of the nicest courses I've ever played.
There is a hotel on site that looks awesome, met people walking around the course taking photos.

"Loved it!"
Beautiful golf course and in spectacular condition. The rental clubs are top of the line Teitelist. Couple of signature holes and always challenging but manageable Arnold Palmer course to play on the Ryder cup course. We were first out at 7:30 and nobody in front or behind all morning and a fabulous 3.5 hour round.
