Roe Park Golf Resort: Derry

Catering for both guests of the hotel and local enthusiasts, the Roe Park Resort has established itself as one of Northern Ireland's premier golf resorts, both for the quality of its own 18-hole parkland course and its proximity to some of the world's greatest links courses across the N.Ireland coast.

The 18 hole parkland layout takes full advantage of its beautiful setting with Lough Foyle and the Inishowen Peninsula providing a dramatic backdrop to the course. Popular with amateurs and seasoned players alike, the course is both challenging and enjoyable. It's also just a short drive from the world-renowned Royal Portrush course and some of the world's greatest links courses.

Beyond the course, a first class clubhouse is surrounded by excellent facilities including an Indoor Academy (featuring V1 video analysis, Flightscope Launch Monitor and E6 Golf Simulator), 18 bay (10 indoor & 8 outdoor) driving range, golf shop, short game area and putting green.

"Golf Society Weekend"
From start to finish, this was a great weekend. The hotel staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. The rooms were first class as were the meals. The golf was very enjoyable on a well maintained course. This was our Captain's weekend and I've no doubt the venue will be considered again. Exceptional value.

"Fabulous resort and golf"
Just back from a girls overnight at Roe Park. The staff were so friendly and helpful, from cleaners to restaurant staff and the beds the most comfortable I have slept in anywhere. We ate in the Stables restaurant, reasonably priced and a great choice. Breakfast was fresh and a selection of anything you could want. We then played golf, the deal was any amount of golf so we actually played both days. Great value! Tough enough course with the wind but great views over the valley.
I will definitely be back, it was busy with golfers and families and all appeared to be having a good time. We didn't have time for the spa but I plan to stay longer next time to enjoy it.

"Excellent golf staff!!"
On visiting the golf shop at Roepark I have found the staff very very helpful, the fella with the beard, Michael the Pro and the young fella...David I believe he’s called.
Each one of them couldn’t be more helpful, thank you.
I was able to get properly fitted with new clubs which has helped my game dramatically, and a very reasonable price .
The actual golf course is kept in great condition... a credit to the grounds staff, well done.

"Golf heaven and more"
Tasteful ambience in a great locale. Great golf course and driving range. There are also a lot of other things to see and do nearby including hikes to the summit of Benevenagh with incredible views of Lough Foyle. Visit beautiful sandy Benone beach and the Martello Tower nearby. A short drive away are Derry, Giants Causeway and Bushmills distilliery.
