The golf club boasts three championship standard golf course configurations - the original Deerpark (Par 71), Belvelly (Par 72) and Barryscourt (Par 73). The championship Cork golf club was a proud host to the 2001, 2002 and 2014 Irish Open. In 2011 & 2012, the golf club also hosted the PGA Europro Audi Cork Irish Masters.

Play through our gorgeous woodlands and vistas across three traditional yet challenging courses, or sharpen your game with some practice at our Academy, then relax and eat in our uniquely designed Clubhouse. From check in to check out everything about the hotel stay was top class. The hotel rooms, food, drinks leisure centre is everything you would wish for in a hotel. I could go one. Well worth a visit. We are a young couple and brought our child. This was our 3rd time been here we will be back!!

My son Brian had his wedding at fota island on the 26 th Feb . We will never forget it , we stayed 4 nights and it was amazing from start to finish. Staff, food , everything brilliant. Stayed in one of the lodges it was unreal. Thanks for everything especially John who drove us around and was an absolute gentleman. Only thing left to say is we be back Thanks again.

Just spent a week in Fota with Family This is surely a top class resort. Great facilities, spotlessly clean, very friendly staff. Good value for a 5 star. Would highly recommend. Back there in a weeks time to play a few rounds, can't wait. Definitely worth a visit.

"Amazing!"
What a beautiful course! Had lunch in the clubhouse. Had the Granny Smith Caesar salad which was delicious and my husband had the chicken wings which were to die for. Great selection of beers and food. Staff very friendly and attentive.

"Pleasant course"
Well maintained course but greens were a bit ropey. Some pretty looking holes especially the eighteenth. Nice modern clubhouse. Good changing rooms

My new husband and I recently stayed in the magnolia suite in Fota Island Resort for our mini-moon. It was a beautiful suite with a huge balcony. We were welcomed to our room with a plate of chocolates.
The food in the bar is very tasty and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The concierge desk were also very helpful and friendly and we got a courtesy car to and from Fota Wildlife Park , that was a very enjoyable day.
The staff in the spa are so helpful and lovely too, we both available of the amenities there. So relaxing!!
The food and ambience in the golf club is lovely too. The staff are so attentive in all areas of the hotel, spa and golf club. They couldn’t do enough for us. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Fota Island Resort to anyone. I can’t wait to return as soon as possible.

This is a parkland course easily assessed from Cork. A beautiful course with several great holes. The 18th is a great finishing hole with almost an island green. The only real surprise was around the 4th hole, I heard some horrible howling and screaming. Apparently it was feeding time for the howler monkeys at the nearby wildlife park. I never would have guessed monkeys!

"Incredible course, excellent facilities and the tastiest burger I have ever had!"
We were lucky enough to purchase a voucher to play golf here for 99E for 2 including lunch. We drove through the beautiful grounds to the clubhouse which is something you would expect to find at a fine country club in the US. The staff at the pro shop were very accommodating and friendly, the course itself is excellent. Some wonderful views and great elevation throughout. Great to have the drive out so much during a round of golf, very well manicured course.
