We decided to create a unique home with views of the sea and open our doors to guests and share the secret of the breathtakingly beautiful Glens of Antrim.

Water’s Edge is exactly where the name suggests, at the edge of the intoxicatingly scenic Glenarm Bay on the Causeway Coastal Route (Lonely Planet’s must see destination of 2018). "Brilliant Bed and Breakfast in a storybook setting with amazing accommodations, food, views and hosts!"
I would give the Water's Edge a ten star rating if I could. The views from each room, including the dining area, are amazing as the sun rises over the glen and sparkles off the water right outside the front door. The hosts are a perfect combination of hospitality and professionalism, and extremely welcoming, helpful and a wealth of knowledge of the local area. You have an opportunity to custom order your breakfast the night before, which includes local fresh salmon, homemade breads warm from the oven and extremely generous helpings of the best breakfast you will find anywhere, from hearty Irish fare to homemade granola and fresh fruit. The rooms have a cozy feel, but are roomy enough and very clean and comfortable, with in room coffee and tea service and climate control. This perfect location is within a very short walk of the local castle with stunning gardens and serene setting, quaint local shops and unbelievable views of the coastline from everywhere. We used it as a base to explore the Glens of Antrim and Causeway coast, and were very happy with our choice of location, having never been to Northern Ireland before, we feel extremely blessed to have discovered this B and B and spend our first nights in this enchanting country with our hosts at Water's Edge.

"Beautiful B&B and beautiful location"
Peter & Jenny gave us a warm welcome to their b&b. Stayed for 1 night only. Even though it was only a short stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and comfort. This b&b is modern, clean and lovely. The sea view from our beach room is fantastic.

Breakfast was great. We met 2 lovely couples during our stay and enjoyed our chat with them. Peter & Jenny are great hosts. I would definitely recommend this b&b.

"Wonderful B&B"
The B&B is on the Antrim coast across the roadway from the Irish Sea. Located in the village of Glenarm which is very walkable from the B&B to the marina to Glenarm castle and gardens. We were greeted with tea and delicious orange cake (gluten free) and a table looking out the full window to the water. Gorgeous! Our room faced the water and was a nice size with an incredible bathroom with heated floors. The owners, Jenny and Pete, are very personable, friendly and helpful. With a delicious breakfast as well, obviously they both like to cook. We didn't have time to sit on the patio but I did come home with the cake recipe from Jenny. I would go out-of-my way to stay here again. Highly recommend Water's Edge.

"A delightful B&B that stands out from the rest"
We were lucky enough to firstly find this gem of a B&B, and for them to have availability for a 3 night stay in mid June whilst we explored the northern and eastern elements of the Causeway Coastal Route. The B&B itself is a conversion from an old Police Station and it has been done to the highest standard. There are plenty of little extras which make this accommodation stand out from the crowd, including the provision of bathrobes and slippers, fresh milk always on hand for the bedroom tea/coffee and homemade shortbread biscuits provided daily. The tea and scones provided on our arrival also added a special touch. Jenny and Pete were most welcoming and friendly, and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. They were also able to point us in the direction of some ‘must-see’ sights together with hints and tips on best visiting times. This is the first B&B I have come across who are happy for take-away evening meals to be brought back (or delivered) and offer to provide plates and cutlery to facilitate it!
The hot smoked salmon option at breakfast was delicious, as were the fresh fruit selection and homemade breads. The full Irish version is also not to be missed.
As for the location, its spectacular, right on the waters edge (as the name suggests). Our only regret is that we only had 3 nights so didn’t see as much of Glenarm itself as we would have liked. There is only one solution – a return visit to spend more time in this lovely area – staying at Water’s Edge, of course!!
