The perfect setting The Riverside is situated alongside the River Valency in Boscastle, one of the picturesque parts of North Cornwall in the Southwest which is nationally recognised as being wonderful for its scenic quality.
The Riverside was built around 1584 by Sir Richard Grenville of the Armada fame. We are located just off of the South West coastal path and ideally suited for those walking between Bude, Crackington Haven, Tintagel and Port Isaac.
Leading from the dining room is access to our exclusive tea garden next to the running waters of the River Valency.
