Set within a 2,000 acre country estate, 17th century Pentillie Castle, offers award-winning accommodation, beautiful gardens and a warm homely atmosphere.

The current generation of the Coryton family inherited Pentillie Castle in September 2007. Following an extensive renovation project, and advice from Channel 4s Ruth Watson when featured on Country House Rescue, Pentillie Castle now offers luxurious accommodation in spectacular surroundings overlooking the River Tamar.

There are nine luxury en-suite bedrooms for you to enjoy; eight upstairs with super-king size beds and great views, and one downstairs which is suitable for guests with limited mobility.

There is also an outdoor solar heated swimming pool for guests to enjoy (April-end October) and a games room with widescreen TV, Sky, pool/ table tennis, darts board and DVD player.

However it is the grounds that are truly spectacular. We urge all guests to borrow a pair of our wellies to explore the beautiful woodland gardens down to the River Tamar and across to Sir James Tillie’s mausoleum.

The Castle is also available for exclusive hire, corporate meetings, conferences and relaxing holidays.
