“Lovely Place”

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. We could not have picked a better place to stay. Our room was perfect and breakfast was amazing (Porridge with local whiskey, who'd have thought!?) Absolutely worth a visit. We will definitely be back!!!

“Amazing Little Find!”

I have literally just checked out of this wonderful little place. If you find yourself in this area I would highly recommend. I stayed with my partner and our adult daughter, there are only 3 rooms so we took two of them. All the rooms are very spacious and decorated to suit the character of the building. Lots of attention to detail has been made when decorating the rooms. The beds are really comfortable and of a good size. I got to stay in two of the rooms as we needed to move, this was due to myself extending our stay and Robert was very accommodating. We moved to blue room which was amazing with its four poster bed and roll top bath! Our original room 'The Chintz' was amazing and I did not think it could be beaten but 'The Blue' room just tipped the edge. Our Daughter stayed in 'The Print' room which was of equal high standard and she was as equally amazed with her stay.
We were made to feel very much at home and Robert was very helpful, he could not of tried any harder to make our stay as relaxed and wonderful as it was. Whatever your needs Robert was there to accommodate. The house operates an old servant bell system which Robert said we should use if we needed anything. I felt a bit awkward about ringing a bell to gain assistance but I am sure Robert would not have had any issues with its use. We did use it to let Robert know we where on our way down for breakfast.
Breakfast!! What can I say, absolutely amazing. I was able to sample most of the options available over the course of our stay and was not disappointed by any of them. This morning I reluctantly tried the porridge option which is served with Brown Sugar, cream and a local whiskey. I was a little dubious about what adding whiskey would do as I am not a whiskey fan. I was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious. I have to give a special mention to the Plums poached in clove and cinnamon, this was available every morning with the cereals and was my favourite thing. Again Robert was very pleasant and accommodating during breakfast.
Overall a delightful place with a wonderful thing called 'Robert'. I was a little sad to have to leave this morning and we will endeavour to return regularly. We have family in the area so finding an excuse to return will be easy.

“Outstanding”

We recently stayed here to attend a wedding in the Tullyglass. We were greeted to a very happy welcome from the owner/manager.

He showed us to our room (The Print room). O my what a beautiful spacious room. We had our own private bathroom across the hall which was beautiful.

Great touch was that we were provided with bathrobes. The room was spotless and bed was very comfy.

Breakfast in the morning was gorgeous. Again the gentleman had a quick chat with us and served everything we wanted.

Can't express how beautiful this house/lodge is. The location was ideal for anyone attending the Tullyglass. Only wished we stayed more than one night.
