"One of the nicest places I've ever stayed"
The six of us stayed in three rooms for only one night, but I could have stayed a fortnight. A superlative establishment -- it was not only the nicest small inn we stayed during this trip, it is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed in of any kind. Rooms were perfect, breakfast was outstanding. Seriously, I'm kind of a foodie and this breakfast was one of the best meals I can ever remember. I wish the owners every success -- running an establishment at this level is a real accomplishment.

"Truly excellent stay!"
We stayed four nights in May 2018 and were most impressed. Geraldine and Victor were incredibly kind and gracious hosts. The breakfasts were the best we had in Ireland—both healthy and delicious. The location worked very well for exploring the Burren and Cliffs of Moher. Ballyvaughan is an attractive village on the coast with some very good places to eat. All in all, an excellent stay.

"Absolutely Wonderful!"
Great location for visiting all of the wonderments of the Burren. The owners are very warm and charming, the rooms divine, and the breakfast delicious and filling. The lodge is easy to find and parking is plentiful and off the road.

"Never want to leave..."
My wife and our two young children stayed at the Hazelwood Lodge for a night as we travelled through Ireland and it was by far our best accommodation. From the location near the burren, the bay, and caves, to the warmest people you’ll ever meet, it was much more than we could’ve asked for.

The rooms are clean and very large. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant. We will be back! Thanks to Leslie and her family!

Highly recommended!!!

"Highly Recommend"
Really... Wish we stayed here longer. My family of 4 stayed here for a night and we absolutely LOVED it. The Lodge is very modern, clean, and comfortable. Right by a lovely little town. We were blown away by the size and beauty of our suite. There was even a mini fridge with water and milk for the tea you could make all in the comfort of our room. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, I wanted to take a pillow with me.

We had two young kids with us and chefs of the lodge lives next door, with a HUGE backyard and a play set. Need I say more, my kids were in their element and so were we. The view was just breath taking.

The breakfast was AMAZING! Never have I seen a Lodge offer such a variety for breakfast. The presentation was really cool. The owners and their daughter really do go above and beyond. You can tell they take great pride in their Lodge and your comfort. We were really impressed and will be talking about this place for years to come. Cannot wait to go back.

Highly recommend!
