"Beautiful Home, Beautiful People, Beautiful Views"
What a wonderful B&B! The house is so gorgeous and comfy, a sophisticated combination of rustic old Irish and modern comforts, all beautifully decorated. The rooms were lovely and we had a great night's rest. Over breakfast the next morning, a cup of fresh Nespresso and delicious eggs benedict, we had a chat with the lovely owner about the history of the place. Her assistant also gave us great tips on where to visit in the area.

My husband and I, my parents and grandparents (in their late 80s and very loud Afrikaners) were treated like family and accommodated with a smile.

It's a fantastic spot, especially for people-people. An absolute recommendation.

Well, what a find that was! This was my first time in Ireland and to honest I did not know what to expect. Rosses Point was very beautiful. It reminded me my birth place in Greece where in the dark you can see the litile lights of villages across the Argolic Gulf. Within 10 km you have it all; beaches, lakes, forests and mountains. Down Yonder was very well situated and all those places (Strandhill, Mullaghmore) were a short drive away. The accommodation was excellent with fantastic beds, breakfast and staff. Evanne (apologies if mispelt) was an excellent hostess. She even booked all the places to eat for us. Strange I know but it felt like home! PS: We were very lucky with the weather! No doubt we will be going back!

The hostess was delightful to talk to. A quintessentially very lovely Irish woman, very courteous and full of valued suggestions. I genuinely miss talking to her. Delightful spot overlooking coast almost all by itself. Large rooms, cloud like beds. Clean as a whistle everywhere. Breakfasts almost whatever you want in a lovely spot overlooking the coast with large glass windows. Look, let me cut to the chase. They charge you more than other places but believe me I did not regret at all paying it at the end of my 2 day stay and I don't think you will either. Sligo Town has way too much traffic so avoid but the surrounding countryside is well worth exploring.

"Outstanding"
We spent 3 nights on our Ireland golf tour at "Down Yonder". Warm and friendly, old world charm with modern facilities. Very high standard of rooms. The lounge is reminiscent of something you might expect in a stately home! Spectacular views out over the bay from our first floor en-suite room. Walking distance to the world famous County Sligo golf club. The owner and staff were wonderful. Outstanding.

"You can't ask for more!"
A beautiful bed and breakfast outside Sligo. Large room, good beds, clean, beautiful interior, rich breakfast and a very friendly hostess. We would love to come back here! The atmosphere was something out of the ordinary!
