"Perfect in every way" Where to begin! Words cannot describe how amazing the house and hosts are. From the minute we pulled in until the wave goodbye at the end. Everything was perfect. As it was my wedding morning we needed an early breakfast which was delicious. Learning the history behind the house was also great. The owners couldn’t do enough for us. A million miles from a conventional hotel but in a good way. It honestly felt like a home away from home everything was so comfortable. Will be back in the future.Having travelled all Over the world this was the Best nights accommodation I have ever stayed in. If you need a hotel in this area do not hesitate to book as you will not be disappointed . If you just want a romantic night away this is also the place for you. If you want a night away steeped in history, beautiful decor, amazing hosts, lovely gardens and a great breakfast then this is the place to go

"Hidden gem" What a wonderful house, fabulous hospitality and the most amazing dawn chorus I have heard in years! The birds sang at 5.30 and I had the pleasure of snuggling in my very comfortable bed whilst listening to this wonderful concert!

"Perfect weekend get away" Just back from a lovely stay in Dollardstown House. If staying in a big old Irish country house is on your bucket list, I doubt you'll find much better than this. The house has been restored impeccably in keeping with the style of houses of this time period, with a real attention to detail. Antoinette and Andrew were perfect hosts, very helpful and informative and we received a warm welcome with coffee and scones on the front lawn in the sunshine upon arrival. We stayed in the amber room, which was beautifully and opulently decorated. Enjoyed a pleasant evening and a great night's sleep. Opted for the full Irish breakfast the following morning and arrived down to the dining room where the fire place was roaring (a really nice touch). It was a shame we couldn't stay longer. Would highly recommend, especially to anyone who wants a break from the hectic mayhem of Dublin, it's only an hour away.

We had a lovely stay at Dollardstown House on our way back to UK. We were made warmly welcome, with a lovely log fire and scones and tea in the sitting room on arrival. We woke to 3 inches of snow the next morning but Andrew drove his 4WD down his drive so we could find our way out, and Antoinette and Andrew swept the snow from our car while we breakfasted. Our room was very large and comfortable, and the situation was very convenient for getting to Dublin Port. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
