Dating back to circa 1780 Bealkelly Country House B&B is a tastefully restored Georgian residence overlooking Holy Island and Lough Derg. It is a ten minute drive from the picturesque twin towns of Killaloe/Ballina. Our three brand new Suites offer a superior level of comfort with King and Super-King beds wardrobe, flat screen tv, desk and tea and coffee facilities. Vegetarian breakfasts are also available, along with cereals, cold meats and cheeses. Lough Derg and its surrounds offers excellent fishing, walking and hillclimbing opportunities. Killaloe/Ballina and Tuamgraney/Scarriff and Ogonnelloe offer an excellent variety of pubs and restaurants to suit every taste. The “Jewel of Lough Derg” Holy Island a UNESCO world heritage site is nearby and boat trips to visit it are available locally.
