"Superb Hotel"
My husband and I have just returned home after spending a fantastic weekend at this hotel, celebrating our wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we found all the staff to be so friendly and efficient. Our car was valet parked and the luggage taken to our room with the offer of unpacking if we had required.
Our room was a Deluxe with sea view (room 222). Beautifully decorated and well designed with an amazing view. I’m very particular when it comes to sockets not being near mirrors and poor lighting in bathrooms but I needn’t have worried - I didn’t have to unpack my extension cable which I always have in my suitcase!! The full length mirror on the back of the bathroom door also got a thumbs up.
Another feature of the room, which we found excellent, was the MyAway app which can be downloaded. This allows you to pair your phone to the TV allowing you to stream your music (or watch Netflix/Amazon Prime). Excellent for when you’re chilling in your room or getting ready for dinner.
We dined the first night at Duel in the Sun which is actually on the 1st floor of the Golf Club situated across the main road from the actual hotel. I wasn’t aware of this beforehand and hadn’t packed a suitable coat however there is a courtesy car which takes you there and picks you up again so it wasn’t an issue. Food there was excellent although a little pricey (£44 for an 8oz fillet steak - it did melt in the mouth though).
Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. A buffet style but you could also order from the menu if you didn’t want the full fry-up. I had the Burns Breakfast.....haggis with cheese potato rosti, fried eggs topped with hollandaise sauce. Scrumptious! We did have to queue (school spring break) so take this into account when deciding what time to go down. It wasn’t too long though.
I would highly recommend your stay includes a Sunday and have Sunday Brunch (pre-booking is a must). Absolutely superb. We were so full we couldn’t eat for the rest of the day!
Afternoon Tea looked lovely and the bar offered a lovely variety of food too.
We didn’t use the Spa but did wander over for a visit. Beautifully decorated and very relaxing.
Over the years, we’ve been fortunate enough to stay in some top hotels all over the world and this one ranks with the best of them. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We’ll be back!

"An anniversary to remember!!"
My wife and stayed here last year weekend to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very special. The level of customer service is truly exceptional and the facilities are in our view second to none.

We had afternoon tea overlooking the iconic Alisa Craig with clear views of Arran and even the Northern Ireland coast beyond.

Dinner was a truly amazing experience. We ate at the chef's table, in the kitchen, and watched our chef Callum prepare a wonderful meal of West Coast Chowder, Beetroot Tartare, Grass Fed Fillet of Beef, Foie Gras and Poire Belle Helene.

Callum, sommelier Sumith and waiter Pedro spared no effort in making sure that our special occasion was one not to forget.

"5 star in every respect"
We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and treated ourselves to a night at Trump Turnberry. From the minute we rolled up to the hotel to the minute we left we were treated to 5 star treatment. Jim Spence met us at the door parked the car and sorted our bags. We were booked in to a resort view room however when we mentioned it was our anniversary we were given an upgrade to a wonderful sea view room (131). An ice bucket and glasses were ordered and received. The room was luxury all the way quality fixtures, comfortable bed and the biggest tv I've ever seen. We had drinks in the bar and a wonderful dinner in the 1906 restaurant. If I was to be a little critical I would say the dining room is very clinical (very white, no paintings, tapestries etc) and the battery candle lights on the table looked cheap. How we would have loved a pianist to be playing during the dining experience. Now the best we have stayed and dined in The Waldorf New York, Ritz Carlton Los Angeles Tickle Pink Pebble Beach, Dubai, The Maldives, Florida, Gleneagles The Old Course, St Andrews to name but a few however the breakfast experience at Turnberry knocked them all out the park. Quite simply the best breakfast, service, variety, quality and views you will find anywhere. Well done Trump Turnberry for a brilliant customer experience could not find any faults we never had to ask twice for anything and you have the most wonderful friendly staff. You exceeded expectations.

"Back in 2017"
Returned to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary and attend the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce Platinum Dinner.

We've visited and stayed at the resort for many years now and I suppose, can be slightly biased towards this incredible place.

It was our 1st experience since the multi million pound Trump Int investment and wow, it's noticeable. The rooms, and especially the Trump Ballroom are simply spectacular.

Few places in the world can offer what Turnberry can. View, coast lighthouse, golf, incredible food and hospitality, the list continues.

In Scotland or visiting us, you need to take the time to hop in for afternoon tea or take the opportunity to stay over and experience a destination with a difference.
