The room we were assigned had windows that didn't open and very stuffy. Pleasant staff changed the room which had no drawers and very noisy from the air conditioning outside. No indoor pool working.

"Wedding Weekend"
We booked the King Suite many months in advance but nearer the date the renovation works were ongoing with scaffold/sheeting obscuring the view. The Grand contacted us to apologise and cut our bill for a 3 night stay by 60% !!
All aspects were really well catered from Reception through Concierge and also the Restaurant / Bar.
Nothing fazed them with various requests ranging from accepting deliveries for the wedding to using the shower in the Spa after my wife had a spray tan locally so not to mess up the shower in the room.....
Thoroughly recommend this as a fantastic central location to explore the lovely town of Brighton.

cannot tell you how happy both myself and my husband are with how our wedding day at The Grand went.

Sarah Crombie (The Wedding & Special Events Coordinator) who took over the role a couple of months after we booked our wedding date must have hit the ground running but you couldn't tell as she knew exactly where we were in terms of our plans and right from that point we had every confidence that she would deliver a fantastic day. Every question and query we had was answered and resolved promptly and nothing was too much trouble.

Once we met Daniel (The Event Manager) and Sarah for our final walk through before the big day we were really impressed with how prepared and on the ball the both were. For what is such a huge undertaking on our part and slightly overwhelming, for them was something you could tell they had done many times before and again we had every confidence that we would have a fantastic day.

The food for our wedding breakfast was delicious and all our guests commented on how good it was. It was the same quality that we had for our tasting evening which is quite an achievement so well done to the chef.

We would both like to thank Sarah, Daniel and all the waiting staff, bar staff and everyone at The Grand for making us feel so special and a for giving us truly amazing day.

"Perfect Wedding"
Visited for the weekend of our daughter's wedding and had the most perfect time. The hotel is beautiful and will be absolutely stunning when the renovations have been completed. Sarah and her events team were amazing and we couldn't have asked for more. In fact all the staff at the hotel are wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We were upgraded to a 'sea view' deluxe room which was gorgeous. We will definitely go back when the renovations are completed.

"Weddings"
We had an outstanding and memorable Wedding at The Grand. Its location is excellent. The staff were very accommodating to our needs. The concierge service was excellent and the staff were very helpful.

"Wedding at the Grand"
We recently had our wedding at the Grand. We had an amazing day and in particular a mention must go to Boogie who coordinated the day. No task was too much for her and she won my fathers heart when she found him second helpings of dessert.
Throughout our stay (the night before and the night of the wedding) we were treated so well and all our concerns were dealt with. It was a disappointment that the hotel was covered with scaffolding all around the outside which did impact on natural light of our reception areas and our room to get ready in before the wedding. Thankfully the interior of the hotel is beautiful and it rained on the day so we were unable to have pictures outside with all our guests anyway. However the hotel is on the seafront and my husband and I were able to go out during a short break in the rain to have pictures taken on our own with a backdrop of the west pier and bandstand.
The quality of the hotel is incredibly high and despite the discount we did receive for our wedding due to the scaffolding I would consider the usual package a great deal for a wedding. It took all the pressure of of us on the day to know there was an excellent team at our disposal, the decoration of the room was just how I wanted it without me having to lift a finger once we had arrived and they even prompted us to think about things that had not occurred to us in the lead up to the day.
