This was hands down the most amazing place I have (and most likely ever will) stay. When we arrived, we were greeted by Marnie & Brendan who gave us a tour and explained the history & workings of the castle. The castle is beautifully restored, with 5 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, and lavishly decorated with period-appropriate pieces: rugs, tapestries, incredibly beautiful furniture - each piece is so well thought out and considered. While being respectful of the historical “castle life”, Marnie & Brendan did a wonderful job bringing in modern comforts (lights, showers, wi fi on the first 2 floors). We enjoyed every second of our stay - from watching the sunset on the rooftop, to cooking dinner and spending time in the Great Hall with a fire going - it was a truly remarkable and unforgettable experience that we will be talking about for years to come.

Turin Castle was literally one of the most amazing places we have ever visited, much less called home! Marnie and Brendan were so warm and welcoming, and our three teenagers had an experience of a lifetime -- they've all agreed that Ireland is now their favorite country to visit! The suggestion to have a dinner catered-in by a nearby food emporium made for a magical night. Looking forward to our next vist!

If you have ever wanted to stay in a fairy tale castle, this is the one. Worth every penny. Do note that the stairs are not a good choice for young kids or anyone with any physical issues. I cannot believe what a loving work of art Marnie has created here at Turin Castle. It is a once in a lifetime kind of place to stay in! (Except I am trying to figure out how I can make it back...)

Beautiful, historic castle wonderfully restored and kept as original as possible. The tour is well worth it to learn all the fascinating details about it. The interior is such a surprise. Staircase isn't ideal for anyone with mobility issues but even I managed it without too much difficulty having recently undergone knee surgery. Wonderful space for a get together or celebration!

We stayed at Turin Castle for a family celebration - There were 11 adults and 1 Child. Brendan and Marnie greeted us and gave a wonderful tour of the Castle explaining the history and features of this unique building. The rooms were very comfortable and each had it's own heater and electric blanket. The stoves had fires set and were ready to be lit with abundant firewood for our stay. There is Wifi available at the lower levels of the castle for those who need it but we preferred to be "unplugged" for the weekend. The kitchen is well equipped for those who want to cook for themselves. Access to the front door was via pin pad code so there wasn't any messing around with keys which was very helpful. We really enjoyed our trip - It was a unique experience to stay in a castle!

The castle is fantastic! It takes you back in time with all the modern amenities. The wifi needs a boost, but when you are staying in a castle being "unplugged" is welcoming. It was the perfect accommodation for our group of ten. Great location to get away, and still be close enough to explore the western part of Ireland. A day trip to Connemara, Aran Islands, Galway are easily attainable.
