About The Swallows Nest
Feel the warmth of an Irish welcome when you stay at this family-run holiday home in the heart of Easkey village. This self catering property is within a short stroll of the sea; a haven for surfers and those who enjoy fishing and other outdoor activities.

A recent extension includes a spacious kitchen and sun room where you can relax in comfort whatever the weather. A drying room has also been added, so guests can hang wetsuits and store fishing equipment.

Description
Easkey village is set on the rugged northwest coast, where magnificent waves create a surfer’s paradise. The holiday rental can accommodate up to seven people comfortably in four bedrooms. Leave the business suit at home and enjoy the freedom of the rural countryside.

The property is both spacious and comfortable and is an ideal haven to enjoy a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of modern day life. Easkey is famous for its river, which has good salmon and sea trout fishing from June to October.

This family-friendly holiday home provides bed linen and towels free of charge. Visit Lissadell House in Drumcliffe or learn about Sligo’s Stone Age history at the Sligo County Museum.

Room Features
The house has four spacious bedrooms, UPSTAIRS: - three bedrooms, one of which is ensuite - two with double beds and one with single bed and a cot. There is a separate bathroom upstairs with bath and shower

DOWNSTAIRS:- 1 single bedroom. A separate shower room which is wheelchair friendly.

Location
Travel on the N4 to Sligo. Take the N59 and follow the signs for Ballina. At Dromore West take the R297 and travel approx 7km to Easkey village, Cross the bridge in the village. It is the 3rd House on the left hand side.

"Home away from home"
Really big and comfy house, home away from home. Helen is like family with the added bonus that you only get the good things, not the bad...
Central. Shop, pub, river, beach, newsagents, pottery shop, all a few steps away.

"Exceptional"The Swallow's Nest is a lovely spacious comfortable house in the pretty village of Easkey. The house is extremely well equipped with everything needed for a fabulous time. Helen and her family are so welcoming and helpful, in every way, making it a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The beautiful river, interesting historical castle and lovely coastal scenery are within a few minutes walk from the house.

"Relaxing break in total luxury!"
Where do I start? The house, facilities, hospitality were all excellent. just can't recommend this enough. We stayed as was my Husband's birthday and Helen was so attentive. She left bottle of champagne and a bottle of wine with a lovely birthday message. She pays such attention to detail especially for a rental property. The location meant a lot to us as a family as we had spent a well remembered holiday when my kids were young and it was great reminiscing. I have stayed in another one of her properties, The Waters Edge, and this too is of same high standard with a wonderful location right by the sea. i will return definitely! Thank you Helen.

We stayed in the Swallows nest in Easky, Co. Sligo... though the village is quaint and quiet, the house we rented was everything we come have wished for. The owners are the most amazing people, as are their whole family... There are some absolutely breath-taking walks down by the river... The house is right across from the River Easky.. This house is wheelchair accessible with a ground floor bedroom and wetroom, which may be of use to know.. there is four bedrooms in all and three bathrooms, the kitchen is fab and the living rooms, yes, rooms... there is two of them, which comes in handy when the kids want to watch telly... Had a great time staying in this 5* house and will be back.... PLEASE NOTE.... this house is perfect for surfers.... Even has a seperate washroom with wetroom for drying off wetsuits, etc... and the sea is only a five minute walk away...
