Loved this lodge and would definitely go back

The overall cabin was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay the only negative would be that when it rained at night there was a constant drip from the downpipe outside the twin room which kept us awake at times,.. and the beds were a little on the lumpy side, but I used my sleeping bag as a bed topper to combat this . we would stay again at this property as the site was beautiful and very tranquil.

The beeches at herons brook retreat was absolutely lovely lodge situated not far from the lake and a good distance from other lodges.. The peace and quiet was bliss The lodge was sparkling and well equipped the beds were so comfortable. French doors that opened onto spacious decking area round the back of the lodge on decking area was a nice size spar bath which does take 25 minutes to fill which is not a problem set the tap going and go and make a cup tea or do something else then it’s filled we would absolutely go there again, plus Oakwood adventure park is only 4 miles away blue lagoon water park 2 miles away plus shops are only 0.8 of a mile away very convenient. kids loved it shame we had to go home. BRILLIANT

Beautiful location looked ideal.. On surface looked clean until had to move the bed to find something I dropped .Behind the bed was thick with cobwebs and what appeared to be years of dust . Made me feel ill to think I'd already slept in the bed . Bed was uncomfy there was a constant drip sound from the toilet and ? from guttering .whilst nice to have a welcome pack it's not nice to have cannisters with old coffee and sugar In them . Lodge in perfect spot but needs some maintenance .

The Beeches is a nice lodge in lovely location.. However, there were quite a few cobwebs and although the cleanliness was OK a bit more attention to detail would be good. In addition a tea towel and hand towel for use in the kitchen would be useful. Also there is no CD player which we were expecting. Finally the mattress on the double bed is due for replacement in that you could feel the springs - we are both well under 11 stone in weight so this should not be the case. We thought of using the single beds but they seemed even worse.

The lodge is very comfortable and peaceful.. We had a relaxing holiday. The hot tub was very enjoyable and not a pain to fill, just set it going and go off and do something else for 40 mins. We used it quite a lot.
There are one or two minor things that need attention. The dishwasher is poor and didn't always get great results, even when we cleaned the filter. There are no decent sharp knives. Finally, when we arrived, there was a lot of dust on the tv and cobwebs in a couple of corners. None of this detracted from a super holiday fortunately.

Very secluded and peaceful for a relaxing break.. Within easy driving distance of many places to see and visit and only 1 mile from the centre of Narberth where ameneties are available. The only thing to be aware of is the lack of cash machines in the town. A friendly shop owner suggested queuing up in the post office best / safe option to withdraw cash. There is a machine at the Nisa Extra supermarket but it proved unreliable .Unfortunately one high street bank has closed and the other is open normal banking hours with no outside machine so just need to think about what cash you may need in advance. Narberth is a colourful busy little place with many quirky gift and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Plenty of places to eat well or buy whatever you need for self catering , Great butchers / fish monger open on Sundays too. Grounds at Herons Brook Retreat well maintained , lots of local wildlife to watch and some very friendly domestic ducks who live on and around the lake. Very enjoyable , quiet and relaxing break - The Beeches is well positioned on a slope so that there is a great feeling of space - closest lodge far enough away to not feel overlooked or overheard by any other guests on the site. Jacuzzi privately positioned away from any general view and very easy to fill , empty and then refill with no chemicals - just fresh water each time you wish to use. Would recommend for a a relaxing quiet break with everything you might need and some extras on top . Thankyou.

The best location we have ever stopped at,the grounds were immaculate well kept and very pretty.. we found the holiday was so peaceful, the only thing you could hear were the birds and the ducks on the lake.We felt so well rested we felt we had been been away for weeks.
Thanks to everyone concerned

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. The only small thing that would have improved the stay is a shelf in the en-suit. We had to leave everything in the washbag on the floor which was inconvenient.

The hot tub was a bit disappointing.. The need to fill it and empty each time meant we did not use it. But it did not spoil the week.

If you are looking for the best of both worlds then this is the break for you.. Relaxing in the hot tub after a very busy day exploring was amazing. Fantastic location close to beaches, ruin castles and so much more. Cabin was like home from home. Thank you for a fantastic week.

It was more hilly on site than was expected, brochure doesn`t really show it, maybe it should.. Lodge was exceptional, had little trouble with Jacuzzi but promptly sorted by site staff. Will book again in the future.

We found the location of the property to be quite peaceful, nice to know such places exist in this day and age. There was a good selection of things to see and do to suit all ages; we found Heatherton to be a great place.

We were made very welcome. The property was in a delightful setting and very peaceful but only a short walk from Narberth, a truly lovely bustling village. We would readily recommend staying here. It is centrally located with Saundersfoot, Tenby and Haverfordwest etc being a short drive away.

Well this was a lovely place and area...would come back.
Only disappointment was the hot tub...or hot bath...it took a long time to fill...could only fill with hot water then it was to hot to use for over 2 hours...A proper Hot Tub would be better.
