Parkhead Lodge is a luxury self catering accommodation situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, a short walk from Ballymena town centre and on the main routes from the ferry and airports to the famous North Antrim/Causeway Coast and the Glens of Antrim.

It is adjacent to and overlooking the People's Park, covering 12 acres of parkland and lake, with its splendid leisure facilities including tennis courts, bowling greens, picnic areas and children's playgrounds.

Parkhead Lodge is right in the middle of County Antrim- 30 miles either way to the wonderful tourist attractions of Belfast and the famous Giant's Causeway Coast. The ancient walled city of Derry~Londonderry is an extra 20 miles further away.

The accommodation comprises fully tiled lounge, kitchen/dining area on the ground floor and a luxury main bathroom, master bedroom with en suite and two smaller rooms upstairs.

The design is contemporary yet somehow manages a warm and cosy atmosphere, with a keen attention to detail.

Outstanding Accommodations in the center of Northern Ireland
I simply cannot say enough positive things about our stay at Parkhead Lodge! We booked this property nearly a year before our trip to attend the 2019 British Open at Royal Portrush and were so pleased with the property and its many amenities when we finally arrived. The house is exceptionally well-stocked with any item you can possibly need while on vacation. And the best part was finally meeting Heather and George in person! They are consummate hosts and two of the kindest, most generous people we've ever met anywhere in the world. We highly recommend Parkhead Lodge for anyone staying in Northern Ireland. It's also a perfect location as a base for multiple day trips.

Delightful
This is a lovely house and was perfect for a stay in order to attend a family wedding. The house is extremely well designed and attractively furnished. Plus, the owners met us to show us round at the start of our stay, and were incredibly welcoming. Overall, it was a great place to spend a few days and we had an enjoyable time.

Another great stay
We have been coming to Parkhead Lodge for years and have always found George and Heather very easy and lovely people to deal with.

The house itself is very well equipped, comfortable and well maintained and it is in the perfect location whether you are just looking to stroll into Ballymena Town Centre or use it as a base to visit Belfast or The Antrim Coast.

Thanks again for another lovely stay.
