Moy House: Clare

Dating back to the 18th Century, Moy House was originally built as home to Sir Augustine Fitzgerald of Carrigoran family in County Clare.

In its majestic splendor, Moy House prevails over Lahinch Bay and offers breathtaking views of the wild Atlantic ocean. Set on fifteen acres of grounds adorned by mature woodland and a picturesque river, this is a truly unique setting on Ireland's West coast.

Major restoration has transformed this country house in keeping with present day expectations of superior standards, yet preserving its unique character, style and ambiance.

Now with its mix of contemporary and classical elegance today's modern traveler can enjoy luxurious surroundings with natural and warm hospitality.

Moy House offers a choice of both exclusive private rental or caterered accommodation on a B&B basis.

Guests will enjoy dining at Moy House where you can indulge in the ever-changing view of the ocean from the conservatory candlelit restaurant. Watch sun set on the sea as you enjoy fine cooking.

The Moy House is remarkable. House is first class, exceptional hospitality hosted by Clare - This was a family trip. Farm ( we visited ) to table is authentic . Gardens are amazing ! Great food ! May House should be on the top of your list.

The pictures don't do this justice, we had an amazing time for my birthday weekend. The restaurant was an amazing experience and the food was fantastic. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was great, a must stay. Looking forward to staying again.

Moy House was our very first night in Ireland on a week-long drive, and we could not have chosen a better location. We arrived just at dinner time, and were shown to a lovely table with a view of the Atlantic, where we enjoyed watching surfers at sunset while we were served fresh, impeccably prepared and presented food. We had the pleasure of staying in the Moymore room, quite spacious and well-appointed. Clare made us feel most welcome. Highly recommended, and we sincerely hope that we one day are able to visit again.
